Call of Duty is the average shooter.

When it comes to pure entertainment (with friends), CoD is the ultimate. Now, for the graphics nerds and the (few ones) that only look for technical things, Crysis is the way to go.

It's funny, because the haters will buy MW3 and play it more than BF3... See the irony? It's interesting.

But what if I bought BF3 instead of Mw3 because Cod has been nothing but a cheap rehash since Cod4.

See that's what everybody said about MW2... and Black Ops... But they found out something; even if it wasn't the greatest improvement in the world, it was still damn entertaining to play, unlike other games, that were "big improvements". CoD is about---what gaming always has been about---having fun. And that's why everybody will buy it. That's why BF3 will fail. DICE only thinks you can put in pretty graphics and some crappy gameplay, but it's all about having fun while playing and that's why Modern Warfare 3 will be unbeatable this fall.

First off, it's 11 million. It's descending. Secondly, the Warcraft series will never hit 7 million daily, end of discussion.

Your'e comparing ONE game that's been out since 2004 which you also have to PAYfor to an ENTIREfranchise.

WoW seems far more impressive to me.

It doesn't matter if they log in. THEY ARE PAYING PER MONTH. If Call of Duty required a subscription it wouldn't even come close to WoW's numbers.

Let's see if that's going to change with ELITE, then. ;)
