release date has not been formally announced. Everyone assumes that it will me the 12th because that is when MGS4 is released but there has not been an official announcement. I am thinking sometime in June but I am starting to doubt the 12th with each passing day w/o an announcement.
Hmmm. Amazon.com says "( June 30th 2008 )" for its avaliablity date so if the bundle is getting released on the 12th, there is apparently going to be a wait there
To the OP, go to the US playstation website where you can check compatible games and run all your games through the search. Chances are, if the game was sold decent it is compatible, the 'problems' i've seen are usually just glitch-esque stuff that is resolved in a patch of the PS3. I'm getting the 80GB bundle pack when it is released as well
Haven't played it yet, but if Im not mistaken, I read that UT3 is a cross-platform game online, so you should also be able to possibly play those with the game on the 360 (and/or PC). I think the PC version is out but the 360 version is to be released so even more ppl should be playing it than already are.
I didn´t join the "dark side" yet, but i will work on summer to get it, when u work to get a console, that purchase tastes more sweet, ain´t that right?

Me three! I start work tomorrow pretty much solely for a PS3 and a HDTV but also because I have less than $40 to my name currently. The 80 GB bundle pack is going to be a big seller for the well-informed consumer
Bought the game from a bargain bin in January or so. I didn't hate the game, I got all my roomates addicted to the game and they beat it and played the multiplayer to it for at least a whole semester. I got about 3/4 of the way through the game and just got tired of playing it. I recall it being waaay too repetitive in the story line and the difference in levels. So damn predictable and B movie-esque dialogue and characters.
I only bought it coz KillZone 2 looked so good, and being that it is revamped in a lot of ways I might still give it a shot anyways.
