Threads like these introduced me to MGS. I'm getting the 80GB MGS bundle pack but Im going to buy the Essential Collection and work my way up to MGS4. So I guess I won't be experiencing the actual graphical power of the PS3 for quite some time, lol

LCD prices are dropping and they are a bit more proven at the moment. I heard of the stories of easy burn in images and problems with the original Plasmas and stuff, so I generally try to stay away from the first batch or two of a brand new product
I agree with the original poster. And before everyone starts complaining about how bad they got it, where I was over the summer, PS3 60 GB = $1000 USD. So cut the crap. Fact of the matter is, it is not like Australia or Denmark where it is hundreds (or thousands) of miles away. We cross a frickin border and all of a sudden we gettin raped in the ass, there is no lakes/rivers/oceans to cross and yet we still get bad prices. Its not Sony's fault but the retailers who get away with murder.

But about the article, call it fanboy if you want, but saying that if the PS3 doesnt do well this holiday it will fail or something to that degree is just propoganda that instills fear in PS3 console owners and doubt in potential consumers. It is counterproductive and a possible self-fulfilling prophecy. Thats why i think that some analysts or websites are working against sony. It sounds like some big conspiracy theory, but with billions of dollars at stake, is it really that far-fetched? If a team called the patriots are caught cheating, is a console war with some biased opinions really unexpected?

nah no problem man. FWIW, what you said is the most important thing about the game and will probably help ppl new to the game immensely. Its one of those things that really help the game. It was like the 1st level and Im just sprayin all over the place until a friend says uses short bursts for accuracy. They should put that in the manual or something.
killzone has a decent story, but the way it is told is just meh. Its like A) shoot everyone til u get to a checkpoint B) 1/2 the time there is a cutscene... this cutscene will explain something C) Repeat A and B until game is over
During the game nothing is told or accomplished. Its like characters cant even intereact in-game, only durin cutscenes can they say something other than 'returning fire' or 'take cover'
