[QUOTE="DragonfireXZ95"][QUOTE="bladeeagle"][QUOTE="killerfist"] 9000 and above? Try 600 to 900 for an extremely good computer. Besides most HDTVs can cost upwards from 900 dollars so... Before you say it's optional to buy a hdtv, it's also optional to upgrade your computer to the latest technology avaliable. Simplicity? Not for MGS4 with multiple mid act installs even after I beat it once. PS3 has system installs and updates. Um last one is dependent on people's preference. But it's pretty much well known that mouse destroys joysticks.

I think he meant 900, if he meant 9000, then that is just so ignorant it's wrong.
Yes their more ''Successful'' then pc's due to their simplicity and plug and play. I find it kind of funny your saying thats good, im guessing legos were the hard toys and propably still are for you guys?Carlos0068
Hmm, actually I never thought of this. I used to LOVE legos as a kid, maybe that's why I love putting together computers so much now. lol

It seriously is like legos. Damm those high iq requiring legos, damm them

crysis: http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a29/dark1x/ScreenShot0046_1.jpg

uncharted2: http://files.xboxic.com/ps3/uncharted-drakes-fortune/e3-uncharted-drakes-fortune-screenshot-2.jpg

Your Crysis screenshot looks like an early DX9 version. Refer to DX10 version bellow.

Actual Crysis Warhead screenshot.

if thats your own personal pic, the 2nd one, turn on some af, those mountains look terrible, dont want console graphics do you?

Oh please the top of the range graphics card at the moment costs almost double what your precious little ps3 did. Then theres a few grand more worth of hardware to run crysis at full graphics and, oh gee this is better than uncharted 2 and better than any ps3 game that will ever be released. And we're only on High graphics at the moment.COD4ME
Just from this statement, i know you have no idea what your talking about? If you knew math you will realize that it takes under a grand to play crysis well, wait let me rephrase that, that will play at max with decent frames and be more than good enough for games to come. You gotta look past those dell/hp and what ever crappy gaming comp builders price their overpriced hardware. As for the thread goes, as said before ''Maybe in a alternate universe.''

[QUOTE="REforever101"][QUOTE="Carlos0068"]Nice, it was around 1k? I just did the math on the top of my head and it never went over 800. 180ish for the 8500, 230 for the gtx 260, 90 for the hd, 140 for the mobo, 60 for the ram, and 130 for the psu? Yup around 800 shipped. Im i missing something or did you buy it from somewhere else? :)

oh, my cpu heatsink, case, speakers, 64 bit vista os, and dvd drive contributed too

ahh there we go, but yea nice man, its a blast when the parts come and you smell the new parts smell and the fun of putting it together. My rig had a big hefty pricetag as well, around 900 just for cpu/mobo/ram :(
