Two things.

I have a friend that is really good at stuff like Gears and Rainbow but can barely get on the track in Forza, just not that great at driving. So, in that, trying to "standardized" points would be impossible. What he would consider "hard", I would consider a breeze.

The other issue is, nothing is really "hard". Hard equals time spent in most cases. If my mom played Gears 40 hours a week she would be pretty good after a while. Some people don't have that much time but still want to enjoy the game and get a few achievements.

Points are cool, but I game like I always have. I have always played everything under the sun. Some come fast, some take longer but who cares? I have played 3 VERY easy GS games and have about 50 in each. The games sucked.

Good at Gears? Hard to say, I rarley die on it and rarely play it, it's boring after a couple of hours. You win, the kids cry, store it away. Good game to start with when late at night and home from a few parties, easy kills. Then I move on.

...that this game and all f its bugs are seemingly void...as in you got good and realised the bugs can be worked around?

I got real good at gears and realised that the bugs do not hinder my gameplay whatsoever, i start to get the impression that people that blow at Gears online make all sorts of excuses up to "excuse" their inability to compete with better players online.

Anyone see this to be true?

Discuss?

The best looking games were Mass Effect and Call of Duty 4. All the conferences were pretty boring; although I think Nintendos' sold me on getting a Wii for my little nephew.

Bought my 360 at launch; I never turned it off as I sleep sparaticly and work at home and 11,000 hours later I traded it in for an Elite and had no issues with it. As for cooling it, it sat on top of my AMP that kept it nice and warm.

Rental. The game COULD have been cool, but it's not. The review was pretty spot-on. The controls are janky, the collision detection blows, the draw distance is horrid, there is no story and the levels are poorly laid-out.

Some find it fun so who-knows, you might like it; rent first.

Z to the E to the R to the O

i HATE digital distribution

Nothing like paying for something you do not own or have a hard copy of. Some game stuff I understand but, items like TV shows and movies, wierd. People love to throw money in the trash. MS and the sellers love those people.

Traded in my launch 360 this morning, sans the HDD, for an "Elite". My only complaint is; why is the new ethernet cable so much shorter?.
