Does anyone know what the link is for this transfer cable or have a path-to-find, as it seems to elude me when I look for it or use the "search" option.

Costco, VIZIO 32" LCD, $599. I have a friend that bought it and it's very nice. Costco has free 2 year warrenty and VIZIO has a no-dead-pixel policy.

If you have a nice SDTV just stick with that. HDTV's are over-rated, I have a couple of them and still use my SDTV half the time, depending on what room I am in, and it doesn't bother me at all. HDTV will be great in 5 years.

Ive seen quite a number of posts of people saying how they have a 360 including the old Xbox. Is 360 not backwards compatible, or is it, but only to a degree? If its 100 % backwards compatible, why the hell do you still keep it? trade it in for a game or something.

I have most of my old consoles but the XBOX has a very good reason to be still used; NFL 2K5.

I've been trying. I suppose I'm too lacking in the skills department. Gears of War is an exeptional game, no doubt, but Dear Lord...can we not make the final battle against the Queen's general borderline impossible? I'll keep trying, but the people with which I've teamed don't typically make the endeavor easier. I want that achievement now. With a little work it's not bad. I have killed him over 40 times on Insane and here is the way I do it: Grab the Sniper and take Lancer and 'Nades. Sit behind the first wall and never leave it. Hit him in the NECK with every sniper shot. IF he makes his way over to you, just stay on the other side of the wall ( the first wall), meaning run around or jump over, and blind-fire him in the face.  There is no "trick", just pattern, like all games.

Another way is to run from one side to the other but I have not used that method. Co-Op, same but find someone that is competent.

To expand on that, there are different Win XP versions. You can stream music and browse pictures using Media Connect with any version of XP to your 360.

For the rest of the stuff, like streaming movies, recorded TV and the like, you need either Windows XP Media Center Edition or Vista. ( I have Ultimate and am not sure what other version works )

Maybe some of you are in the same boat as me. I picked-up my 360 on 12-23-05, hooked-it up and started playing PGR3. With a 1 year replacement plan, as most consoles have died, I left it on; right on top of my AMP that vents up to the 360, I have only had it turned off around 8-12 days total. Ya, I wanted to test it and push-it.

Now before you get into the waste of energy thing, I am very fuel and environmentally conscious, so move along.

I have a few of both and the truth is, some games look better on SDTV and some games look better on HDTV.

You don't in any way need to spend the money for a HDTV right now. The prices are falling and the quility is getting better.

Just wait and pick up a better product latter-on. On the TV side, there isn't much broudcast in HD right now, but that should change in 2 years.

Move in a circular fashion clockwise or counter-clockwise and keep shooting in front of you, at least the majority of the time. Practice is all it takes I would guess.
