Marketshare doesn't transfer from generation to generation. All consoles start at zero sales. For Sony to have lost marketshare this gen and MS to have gained it, then you'd have to show a point in this generation where Sony had more of the market and MS had less than they each have currently. Since MS had 100% of the 7th gen market for a full year, that's gonna be hard to do...

I'd say it's a fair statement that MS has been much more successful this gen than they were last gen, and Sony not nearly as successful as last gen.

Then New Vegas must be a super flop? It got 7.5 on consoles as well and it definitely had more hype. Oh wait I forgot I can't take System Wars posters seriously because they think 7.5 is a bad score.

We are 5 years into the next gen. I am pretty sure PS2 is allowed to die peacefully at this time.

I am really sick of threads based around a platform dying. I see a new one nearly every day regardless of the system. On Wednesday the 360 is dying, on Thursday the PS3 is dying, and finally on Friday the PC is dying. There needs to be a rule to stop these stupid threads from appearing daily because they are always the same stupid arguements. Reality check here, no platform is dying. Maybe if you never leave System Wars you believe that, but in the real world I am pretty sure that most systems are doing awesome. Besides the PSP tho.

People hate on Fable far too much. Its not anywhere as bad as people make it out to be. Its not amazingly good but I remember having lots of fun with the second one.

I don't even has a PS3 but yes they can play multi-plats while they wait for exclusives. Actually I probably enjoy multiplats more then most exclusives anyway.
