I think it is better to have to choice but I will play all games with the music that came with it because the is how it is supposed to be played. Games such as MGS4 will be sweet to play with the music that comes with it to help set the mood of the game, like a movie. The worse games would be nice to have your own music for game that sucks and you want to listen to a new CD you got and you want to play some retro game that does not need any music for it.
I would really think about getting Linux for my ps3 if I could get other video codex working on my ps3. Maybe a VLC player works on Yellow dog or a different one.
I knew I was going to get a ps3 to replace my ps2 that broke like 2 years ago. I wanted to play a bunch of older ps2 games that I still wanted to beat and others that I needed to buy. I am impressed with the value of what is in the ps3 for what I paid for. (500 for 60gb ps3). I am into the Metal Gear series and I really believe in the games for ps3 will get better. I am not into that much and the 360 my friend got has broken 3 times so far. The main reason why I got my ps3 when I did was about 2 weeks ago I wanted to play my MGS3substance again and I was reading on the Sony site about it having some play problems on the 80gb ps3. It got me worried and I told my g/f and she offered to put in a hundred bucks in for me. I got Oblivion game of the year and have enjoyed it but I have also been playing a lot of FF12 and MGS2. I am happy with my purchase and have finished downloading all the demos I could find online. I do like one folding Work unit a day while I am at class during the day. My only complaint is lack of ps3 games that are 40 bucks and under. I have supplemented poor cheap ps3 games with playing Greatest hits ps2 games. I wish setting up a media server on my PC for my ps3 was easier. I also like other games then shooters and 360 seems to be dominated by that genera of games right now to me. I also enjoy supporting under dogs, I hope more ps3 centered developers go for ps3 instead of getting low grade ports.
I am personally addicted to F@H. I honestly enjoy it when I come back from a day of classes and my ps3 finished a work unit. I really wish more people run F@H, Ps3 or not.
