Golden Sun and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. They'll more than satisfy your rpg and platforming needs. Plus, you can take monsters souls and get some awesome new powers out of them in Castlevania: AoS.
Super Castlevania 4. the whip action is really cool and unlike any other castlevania game. Darius Twins is awesome too, especially when in 2 player mode.
Getting my first gameboy (a gbc) and playing my first rpg on it, Pokemon Yellow Version. Just thinking about it makes me want to play it again right now. if only i hadnt lost it.:evil:
the worst: popo and nana from ice climbers. some how they always get in the super smash bros. games even though they only starred in one game for the NES, and it wasnt even good.
the best: simon belmont from castlevania. the fact he can take down that many demons and monsters with just a whip is fricken awesome!
