In the latest PSN store update there is over $240 worth of Tiger Woods 12 download content. That makes my blood boil and I didn't even have an interest in the game.
In order for 'amazing' graphics to be regarded as fact, there would need to be evidence to verify this claim beyond a reasonable doubt. In our reality this is not possible due to the nature of free-will and individual taste. Even if we were all apart of a collective self-conscious that caused us all to think alike, it would still only be the opinion of our planet and not a universal truth. An extraterrestrial might easily come along and tell us that our Uncharted 2 and Killzone 3 look like garbage compared to his E'eng Nak TcherD game on his home world. Taste is not an exact science you see and that makes it impossible to classify anything in regards to it as absolute fact.
Precursor Legacy is my favorite game on PS2. I played it a few months ago and it actually looked quite nice on my hdtv via component cables. Jak II and III both have widescreen and progressive scan options which make them look even nicer. I'm not opposed to having an HD collection, but I don't think it's absolutely necessary in order to enjoy these games. I'm perfectly content to play them in standard def. ^_^
That doesn't sound normal to me. Mine is pretty silent with the exception of some optical drive noise and hard drive clicks. Nothing compared to the vacuum that was my 360. I wonder if they've fixed the fan noise in their newer models though.
I'm almost positive they will not start charging a fee for online services. They will most likely just continue to expand their optional playstation plus program, which already seems to be quite successful. The free online aspect of PS3 is a major factor in what separates it from Microsoft's Xbox and I gather it's a significant contributor to overall sales.
1-2 is fairly straight forward and it is wise to complete it before moving onto 2-1/Stonefang Tunnel. The only real tough part about it is the fire breathing dragon and the boss which is significantly more challenging than the previous one, who was somewhat of a pushover.
