I must disagree with the (apparent) vast majority who like this game. I just didn't enjoy the story, characters or gameplay enough to recommend this to someone. Technically it's not a bad game, but I play games for fun and this one simply did not deliver. I'm not an avid reader, but I would probably recommend that you read a book rather than play this. As for what it's worth, that is relative to your financial situation. Never trust someone who says a game is worth such and such amount. Everyone values money differently and some people are far more frugal than others. For instance, there are many people who would buy a game for $60, but I would never even dream of it. In the end it's your money and you shouldn't trust anyone but yourself with how you spend it.

Fallout 3 Just Cause 2 Demon's Souls Vanquish Uncharted 1 & 2 Assassin's Creed II Bioshock Yakuza 3 I would strongly recommend all of these. Most of them are fairly cheap now as well.

Knowing Microsoft, they will attempt to beat everyone out of the gate with their Xbox 720 and fail miserably in the testing department. This will inevitably cause massive failures in launch units followed by slightly less frequent failures in every subsequent console that is produced. Hopefully they will have learned from their past mistakes, but I doubt it. As for PS4, I sincerely hope that it is not released anytime soon or even in the next 3 years. I am perfectly content with PS3 and it seems like it's finally hitting it's stride with a multitude of quality games coming out this year.

I do know one thing. Longer length doesn't always equal better. However, I figured Homefront would be a little bit more story driven than your typical fps so 5 hours does seem pretty short if they're trying to fit a decent narrative in there. If it's just pure action, like Vanquish, then there really is no need for it to be any longer than that though. I do wish there were more fps games that focused entirely on the single-player campaign. Once you've played one multiplayer fps, you've pretty much played them all.

I'm glad there are other people who weren't impressed by Enslaved. I was beginning to feel like I was the only one. This is actually a game I thought I would like when I first heard about it, but it turned out to be something that was predictable and akin to a household chore by the end. It took the majority of it's elements from other games and failed to match them in quality. The platforming was especially linear and uninvolved, as was the combat. I didn't enjoy the characters AT ALL, especially Trip who I felt to be exceedingly annoying. The story was retarded and the ending felt like it was concocted by a child who had just seen The Matrix Revolutions. It may seem like I'm being overly critical here so I do have one positive thing to say about it which is that the art was nice. Can't recommend it based on art alone though...

Definitely deserves a 9.5. There's a remarkable level of detail in the world and so much to see and do. Yes it has glitches, but they have not caused me any significant problems. Even after nearly 50 hours of playing time, the game remains entertaining. It's so rare that a game can keep me engaged day after day and hour after hour. The scenery is breathtaking as well. Not since Uncharted 2 have I been this continually impressed by what I'm seeing on screen. Sometimes I just forget about the objectives and admire the beautiful world that Rockstar has crafted. But I digress... The game certainly isn't for everyone. However, for those people who enjoy the western setting and don't mind the lack of modern weaponry, it's one of those games that will stay with you long after you've taken it out of your console. I can see myself going back to this game months and probably even years from now.

I'm not interested because I don't deserve to play a game this epic and beautiful. I will stick with Atari because I am unworthy of the gaming excellence that is Red Dead Redemption... :(
