@jinzo9988: they didn't exactly properly support it if I recall so I doubt anyone on Switch was gonna buy it. Look at how they handled Black Ops 2. Wii u owners got the nuke town and die rise maps 2 years after everyone else. When it comes to multiplats if you're gonna make them there has to be some level of parity across platforms. If you treat users on a platform as if they aren't worth prioritizing then heck yeah they aren't gonna buy your product. I saw what was going on with switch ports and how devs were cutting corners. Nintendo doesn't gimp their games, and nor do the developers who typically support nintendo. So why should the nintendo userbase support cut features, late or no dlc, and just plain subpar ports? Sorry if this is long but devs like them did this to themselves, on other platforms I don't gotta fear developers selling me a game that's a substandard version of a game and it's not fair.
It can evolve even further by letting Rare make a few more new ip. I dunno how big each Studio's team us but as rich as Ms is they can hire more people so their studios can handle more projects. I may have been dissapointed by 360 but X1 is a big improvement so why not a bigger first party team.....what is Bioware up to? I really want Xbox to get bigger and court Bandai and Square more because to be honest Sony isn't doing to hot and so might end up dragging playstation down with it.
@gamerbum: I could honestly get behind Xbox if it got japanese games regularly. Specifically Kingdom Hearts(all of them not just 3), Bandai Namco rpgs(Tales games and Digimon). Lately it feels like Sony is ruining shit and there's not too many reason to buy anything but exclusives for ps4. For example they really messed up Ratchet and Clank by turning it into a movie tie in
@livedreamplay: I would have liked it to have been their idea. I'd like them to have more ideas besides throwing their wallet at everything. Or at the very least invest in the studios they've bought so far. Xbox would be amazing if it was regularly bolstered by Rare's ip. I'm amazed Sea of Thieves was approved. Rare could provide the platformers xbox lacks if they could make a new ip. Sorry I'm just tired of MS playing it safe by buying ips with established history. It's not as exciting as something entirely new
@livedreamplay: Halo was bought from Bungie so it's not one of their original al ideas and sure praise if you like it. I didn't get to play much of it but I know it's better than Gears.
@gamerbum: I never said it didn't have games. I said it doesn't more than one franchise made by MS. Halo was bought from Bungie and Gears from Epic Games, Minecraft from Mojang, and well Fable is dead I guess. All I'm saying is I'm tired of them money hating their way forward. They are rich as heck they don't need to buy IPs. I really really look forward to a console maker's first party games because their usually the best on the console. But by buying old ips they just don't have the impact of games made directly by the console maker. I have a feeling if MS really committed to the gaming industry, they could bury the competition like it was nothing. Well maybe Sony, as much as I like them Sony is very unstable.
On a side note do they really need Gears, Halo is already their go to shooter
