[QUOTE="CentricStorm"]Lucky that my PC can run Super Mario Galaxy 2 in High Definition then.oldkingallantIllegally, with lag, and without the proper controls. Someone could probably screw with the Wii enough to make it powerful enough to run Crysis, but that wouldn't hold any ground in System Wars. The cost in hardware upgrades to get a Wii running Crysis would be...well, they'd be the same as buying an entirely new gaming PC. Doesn't cost much at all to get a Wii game running on PC...free in fact unless you want the 'proper' Wii controls. In both cases you would have to buy the copy of the game, so that cost is irrelevent in the comparison. Anyway: 1. Not illegal if I own the game. 2. No lag on a powerful system. 3. Proper controls if I have a Wiimote. Still got the benefit of running the game in High Definition, and still saved the cost of buying a Wii for whatever outrageously high price it is selling for.

Same difference. Crysis 2 is improved from Crysis 1.u8muhriceYeah, lower resolution textures, massively decreased view distance, smaller environments, artificial city setting, these are all examples of how Crysis 2 'is improved' from the original Crysis. Seriously, Crysis won't even be equalled until the next generation of consoles release, and seeing as it is photorealistic, it will never actually be beaten.
And honestly, yes. I do believe GT5 graphics are better than Crysuck 2u8muhriceCrysis 2 has vastly inferior graphics to the still unparalleled original, because of the extreme limitations of the archaic console hardware.
Studio Ghibli (Known for Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away) is working with Sony to make a PS3 exclusive. So far it looks amazing.u8muhriceIt looks good, but I just don't like the style. An example of a game with artistic style I like is Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga.
Crysis multi sucked.Human-after-allA lot of people don't think so. [QUOTE="MetroidPrimePwn"]
Crysis had decent multiplayer.
Crysis Wars was more accessible and more people like it, but it's also simpler. Exactly. The majority of gamers are casual, even on PC, so they preferred the simplified, casual-based multiplayer.in what ways were they simplified? I haven't tried the original Crysis multi yetSilenthpsCrysis Wars had simplifications like Call of Duty style kill messages, annoying display messages, less realistic driving and less HQ health. However, the reduction in skill requirement compared to the original Crysis was the worst change. Reduced armour and drastically reduced recoil were the main problems.
Was ok, Crysis Wars fleshed out the multiplayer component properly. MechWarrior Living Legends however, is absolutely outstanding.skrat_01The gameplay in Crysis Wars was completely revamped and simplified, made way more casual-friendly. In essence it was trying to copy the Call of Duty 4 formula, and was a lot worse for it. The only good point was the addition of new maps. The original Crysis was significantly better, just less popular because of the marginally higher system requirements and higher skill-basis.
There, happy?DraugenCPOf course. So to conclude the thread, the original Crysis had a phenomenal multiplayer mode that wasn't fully realised due to initial glitches and the high system requirements of the game. The 'sequel' Crysis Wars was actually worse, with much more casual-orientated and simplified gameplay, however was more successful due to more people having a computer good enough to run it. Unfortunately, there is general speculation that Crysis 2 will be just as casual-focused, if not more so.
Um why aren't quake 3 Arena and sarcraft up on the top?? AS well as Halo 3?? last time i checked they still have had more money in those tourneys, Halo 3 for MLG has 100,000 dollar first prize at every nationals.Sniping_CrowbarHalo 3 is one of the most popular competitive games, but it doesn't compare to a lot of PC games with regard to how competitive the gameplay is itself. There's a lot of aim assist in that game (and correct me if I am wrong, but the aim assist is actually allowed in MLG tournaments) which drastically reduces the skill requirement for Halo 3. There is a lot less difference between a professional and a new player in Halo 3 than there is in a PC game such as Counter Strike: Source. It still takes a lot of skill to play at professional level but it can't be compared to Counter Strike or Quake.
