Pokemon isn't dying, though there are some people who might want to kill Pikachu. It would be nice if Nintendo decided to take the series in a new direction. Maybe they could make Pokemon into a strategy RPG like Fire Emblem. Just like the possibilities for building a Pokemon team are nearly endless, there are endless possibilities for Pokemon's future.
If they make a Pokemon RPG for the Wii, I'd like to see the following things: 1. An actual storyline. Instead of collecting 8 Badges, maybe the Pokemon finally decide to rebel against their human oppressors. 2. The battle animations need to be as least as good as Final Fantasy X. 3. Give the Pokemon actual voices (I wanna hear Pikachu say "Pikachu!") 4. Maybe it could be set in ancient times, so we see how trainers fared without Pokeballs, Pokedexes, or Pokemon Centers. 5. Make it possible to catch every single Pokemon without trading or special events, including Pokemon like Mew and Celebi.
I'm up for a 2D Zelda as long as they let me move with the Control Pad and swing my sword with the A or B Button. Nintendo, this is really all you have to do to make the next 2D Zelda good, like Link to the Past or the Oracle games.
Yes, Metroid is just a Zelda game. Heart Containers are replaced with Energy Tanks, Arrows are replaced with Missiles, and Bombs are replaced with Power Bombs. Ganon is replaced with Mother Brain, and Volvagia is replaced with Ridley. Metroid doesn't have any Triforce, though. Oh, and Link is replaced by a hot chick, but she wears armor almost all the time so you can't see her face. In turn, Castlevania is just a Metroid game, but I won't go into that in this topic.
I expect that Conduit 2 will have more presidential references and a more interesting storyline. I'm also hoping that we'll be able to go fight on other planets.
I too have never had any accidents with a GCN controller plugged into the Wii. Whenever possible, I prefer to play games with the GCN controller rather than the Wiimote. I don't have any friends that can cause accidents either.....
