I would so buy this in an instant. Even though I have these games on PS2, I would like to see an updated version of them. Aren't remakes cost only $40? That is a perfect price for 4 or 3 of the Ratchet games

I have a collection of ps3 games that I don't play anymore and remembered about the Best Buy trade in deal program. So I went to the site and clicked on the games I am planning to trade in. The total trade in value turns out to be $119. This is made up of 11 games which are: God of War collection + 3, CODMW2, Tom Clancy End War, MAG, Overlord 1, Bordelands GOTY, Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution, Burnout Paradise, Resistance 1+2. I completed all these games and some even getting 100% of the trophies (marked in bold). Has anyone else traded in games at Best Buy? To me this deal seems way better than GameStop offerings on those games. BTW the $119 will be issued as a gift card.

Part of me wants to hold on to these games even if I won't play them because like to see my collection. On the other hand though, that money could be put towards other store items. Such items could be games that go on reduced price or similar deals.

Here is what I think. The PSP was released in March 2005 with the XMB design. A year later the PS3 was released with that design. We now have the GUI of the NGP which is totally different than the XMB. The next PlayStation (PS4 or whatever it will be called) I'm guessing it will have this new menu design as well.

If there is a new design, I hope it will be user friendly and easy to navigate. The current menu is fine by me but maybe a little confusing to a new person on where is certain options.

I been reading this thread for some time now and the review is one person's opinion. As for me, I never owned a GT game before so this is my first. Currently I amenjoying every aspect of it. My review of the game (which is my opinion) I would give this a 9. I never played Forza so I can't comment on that series. The only thing I don't like in GT5 is the jaggy shadows for cars, not enough special events for go-karts, NASCAR etc... I don't know if more go-kart races become available in GT mode. In addition, as others have said so far, I would be happy if instead 200 premiums and 800 standards, there would have been 400 premiums instead. Other people havesaid that PD should have released GT5 three years ago with some features and then release GT6 now with even more features.

Another note, my friend at school first hated GT5 because of the development time. Then as time went on, he started falling into the hype and was thinkingof getting the game. He saw the commercial for first time, loved it, and said he was going to get it. Then I showed him the car list to see if his car was in the game (it wasn't). He then got mad at PD for 6 years and countless delays that his car wasn't in game and would nowwon't buy the game. When I saw him again at school, he said I'm sorry about the reviews that GT5 is getting. I heard it sucks and blah blah blah other stuff. I said I don't care for reviews because it's that person's opinions not mine. Does he care no because he still hates Sony because of the way they handled themselves this generation. I just ignore him then but it's hard because he is always going about Xbox this = great Sony that = bad. Anyway, GT5 is a great game to me and will be playing this for a long time. Thank you PD for your work and can't wait for GT6.

I may take a break from GT for a while because Borderlands GOTY recently arrived from Amazon and want to play the DLC.

• backrgound wallpaper.
• you will receive msgs from friends lists.
• you will receive msgs from people who are interested to be your friends.
• you can change your privacy settings and stuff.
• there is also a section where you give gifts to your friends.
• you can basically tweet too in the community section inside the message board.
• there is a log for people to see what you are doing, unlocked...etc.
• there is mail section to check your inbox, outbox and start new.

that is just crazy.

Makes me wonder EVEN MORE how people can blatantly say this doesn't deserve a 10. :?

Its the perfect Racing game.

It is an all in one racing game. What more does a person want? ( I can already hear these answers)
To be honest, this is my first GT game I will own so all the features that are included are just amazing. This will be my ultimate racing game I will ever need until GT6 comes out :D. PD just got another customer that will buy their games.
