Like, I had my xbox, and my current gamertag, and then I got a 360, and stopped using the xbox. I've been using the 360 with my gamertag, so can I hook up my xbox at like, a friends house and he use the xbox that had that old gamertag on it? Is that possible? I'd have two xbox's, one of them a 360, using one gamertag. Is that possible?

Yeah, some games still use them, but a lot of them are going the way Halo 2 went. Especially FPS's.

:P

I mixed up Bioshock with "The Darkness". I rented both games recently. What was I thinking. Haha.

OH well, the original statement is sound, even though the example was wrong. I wasn't aware that Perfect Dark had a regenerative health system, that was basically my question.

Now, for all the idiots posting "Halo did have health packs lol". Don't you know how to read? I clearly posted that it was about the regenerative shield in the very first, original post. It was in parenthesis. For crying out loud.

Reading Comprehension FTW.

With Halo's use of a regenerating shield, it seems that most games are doing the same thing. Except some games don't make sense when they use it (ie: no shield or anything), it still serves to improve gameplay.

In Bioshock, as well as countless others nowadays, you simply need to take cover for some time before you die and you'll be good as new. Most games do this nowadays, and it's great. I guess thanks to Halo.

I can't think of another game that did it before Halo (eventually, Halo 2 got rid of health packs completely, but Halo introduced the recharge shield). Yay for innovation.

I guess no one reads past the first post, nor does anyone hear about "catchy titles".

In the follow up posts, more is explained and the original statement is revamped.
