Agreed. Wonder if he's playing Guitar Hero 2 on his 360 ("the best game", in his opinion according to his sig). Shouldn't take him more than three or four bricked systems to get through the game. Sure he's having a blast :)

Wow, you really have no signifigant other or life, do you?
Shouldn't you be under a bridge, waiting for billy goats or something?
I could make a song about how pathetic the 360 or Wii is too, but I have better things to do with my time. Like enjoy my PS3.
Keep your posts in the "System Wars" forum please.

P.S. In before the lock!!!
While Lair may play well, it looks aweful.teebeenz
I'm sorry, but can you qualify what exactly looks "aweful"? (And by that, do you mean awe inspiring and "full" of splendor? Or are you trying to say "awful", which is a different word entirely - spell-check please, people :)) The game has beautiful textures, creature designs, water effects and voice-work. Oh, and it runs at a solid 30 fps in it's Alpha build.
Please explain to me what is "aweful" about that.

I'm up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Never had a problem with my EB games. Their store manager sold me the PS3 and let me get an extended warranty well after the 30 days was up (it was like 2 months).
I find them helpful and - mostly - informative. There is one employee there who is a total tool, was trying to justify the "excellent" customer service from MS, while completely ignoring the fact that he was on his third Xbox. What can you do really? There's a gump everywhere, I suppose.

I'm slightly regretting my second purchase of this game. First time it was for the PC. While I give the folks at Bethseda accolades for making the framerates and graphics BETTER than my rig (7800gtx 512, AM2 4600+ dual core processor, 4 gigs of RAM - a nice beast); the game still possesses all that it had on the PC.
This includes a lackluster storyline. A strangely sparse world populated by ugly, ugly people. (Seriously, what happened? Is this some Terry Brooks, post-apocolypse fantasy setting where everyone was mutated by radiation?) Oh, and the "enemies level with you" defeats the sense of accomplishment that comes with creating a powerful character.
I also agree with an earlier poster that it feels and plays more like an FPS than an RPG or Action RPG. A good example of this is the awkward implimentation of the "third person" mode. I can see my character running around now, but have no crosshairs, auto-target or ability to hit things with that f**ked up camera.
In Oblivion's defence, the environments are pretty. That's really about it.

I don't really know if it's a blu-ray/ dvd issue or what. Simply put, the game isn't very graphically impressive. The character models just seem plain fugly too.
Just an opinion, and as we're each entitled to our own, don't bite my head off :)

Had two freezes attributed to bad discs in while playing PS2 games (FF XII and God of War 2). I was able to access the OS and exit the game. Exchanged each of the discs (and look at EB games in a questionable light now)
Enchanted Arms gives me a full on, system crashing freeze; twice now. I hate this game. Exchanged the disk, now we'll see. (And my paranoia has swelled to convince me that EB games is mass burning cheap as* copies of broken games and selling them at full price :))
I've contacted Sony each time regarding the freeze and they are sending me "the box" (in which to put my PS3 and exchange her for a working model).
Sigh. Regardless of all, I am still a Ken Kutaragi's **** I see my two weeks sans PS3 as an opportuinity to give my PSP some much needed love. My signifigant other was tremendously thrilled when I shared the news.

Enchanted Arms. Hexagonal loading screen, froze twice.
Never had an issue with any other PS2 or PS3 game.
Anyone else have problems with this game?
