[QUOTE="cabjnico"][QUOTE="the1stmoonfly"]What the point in a mech game where the mechs are as agile as people, the whole point of a mech is that its a massive, armoured machine with huge guns on it. This isnt for me, when a proper mech sim comes out i look into it, this looks like a bad looking lost planet, that game was fun, this looks naff.the1stmoonfly
Like many mechs exist in real life
Oh come on, so im expected to buy that they can run around like mountin goats and fly like birds, any large machine we currently build is slow, and adding real life attributes like this is what makes a game for me, im into realism as much as possible. Its just harder to make a game when you have to think about how these machines will really move instead of having them fly all over the place as fast as a cheetah.
The armored core games are known for having a huge amount of customization that other mech games lack one of these attributes is your mech size and weight. Sure while flying and using boosters you can move fast(doing so using fuel or energy) but if you build a heavy mech with alot of heavy firepower you manuvarability while walking will be very cumbersome. obviously they aren't going to show that aspect in a trailer where excitement and action is what they want to show. If anything the armored core games big appeal is building a mach to suit your playing preference
2nd edit apparently the word s t y l e gives a forbidden message wierd glitch to say the least
