and the pentium D isnt a core2duo equivalent its worse

Well then you're not really "building" a new PC. You're just adding a GPU.

And yes, a 4850 is still a great buy. I would recommend a 5750 instead, however, because I'm afraid the 4850 uses quite a bit of power. The 5750 doesn't.

well it seems the 4850 just went out of stock so i might get that 5750

Is that even a dual core? If so, I think it's good. Only $100 for the GPU? You should get at least a GTX 460 for $130 or so.

Also you should try the hardware forum.

not_wanted

oh yea it is a dual core but i think it was the first one to come out, i heard that a 5770 was too much for my cpu so i wouldnt even try with a gtx 460, and i apologize about posting in software forum, it was a mistake, ill repost in hardware

get a beta key from here

http://www.gamesradar.com/pc/crasher/news/gr-giveaway-crasher-closed-beta-keys-for-steam/a-20110126142238866052/g-2011012515723179094

or here

http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/01/28/giveaway-win-one-of-250-crasher-beta-keys/

and activate on steam, the thing is that this game is out, and when you activate it it says you own the full 30 dollar game i dont know if it will stay that way but not many codes are left so go and see
