Despite the stupid plot turns in Dark Fate, I don't think that's why the movie failed. I think the franchise has just been damaged to the point where no one gives a shit. Three bad movies and a mediocre TV show, it's just franchise fatigue. It's probably the same place Star Wars is heading. If you keep turning out crap then no one is going to show up for the good one.

Margaret Loesch is pretty amazing. Her name really isn't that secret to anyone who knows about 80/90s cartoons. But it's nice to see her getting more public recognition.
