YES! I'm all in. This can't start soon enough. Are you kidding me? I hope they give away a boom box just for old time's sake! Trivia -> the original Double Dare gave away money in the question/answer rounds because the contestants were inner city kids who couldn't afford the taxes on their prizes!
More like the people at Boss Key are fleeing the sinking ship. If I worked at Boss Key then I'd jump at the chance to work at Epic. They could pay me peanuts. It doesn't matter, because it's either work for Epic or move across the country to California in three months when Boss Key starts laying people off. I really doubt Epic had to twist any arms.
I watched the first two episodes. I can't believe Michael Rougeau finally wrote an article I agree with. The show is pretty good. And Dr Smith so far doesn't seem as threatening as she does just bat shit crazy? Did an insane asylum escapee stow away aboard the colony ship? Don't tell me.
I must be super white because I just don't get why this movie is turning out this much money. It's a good Marvel flick, but c'mon, Black Panther is like a C-List hero. He's on the level of Hawkeye. And there have been other Black superhero shows before, but they've never been ratings busters. It's not like Black Lightening is the highest rated show on television. It's not like MANTIS is considered a culturally defining TV show. Is it the nation of Wakanda itself that people are so attracted to? Cause that's the only real defining difference that I see.
@gleencross: Altered Carbon isn't boring if you dug the original Blade Runner. They seem to have a similar pace and tone to me. Although AC does pick up in various episodes. Now if you thought that Blade Runner was boring than Altered Carbon may bore you too. You really need to be into that future-detective vibe to get the most out of it.
-and more interesting--than the original's cheesy beep-boop companion to the Robinsons
I swear, everything Michael Rougeau writes manages to trigger me. I mean, really dude? The CGI generic looking alien is more interesting then one of the most iconic robots in television history? Because when your new alien robot has to utter the original robot's catchphrase the second it appears on screen in the trailer, it probably suggests your new CGI alien ain't going to be that interesting.
