Did you download the official patch (not the "hotfix").

I have a E6400, 2GB of memory, and a 7600GT and the game runs fine.  It does crash and prevent me from finishing the game, however, so maybe you should just return it.

Wasnt that good of a game any way.

is it slow motion as in horrible frame rates or actually literally in slow motion, because that's a problem i encountered with several games (escape from butcher bay and san andreas, and more recently supreme commander)

i've done all kinds of things to try and fix the bizzare problem, but there doesn't seem to be any singular fix - except just plain old restarting and then firing straight up into the game runs it fine

it's weird that it only happens with certain games, and that it only triggers after soemthing else has run (either certain videos or games, i have never found out for sure), but if you've not tried it yet, just try restarting before you play - it may or may not help, but it's such a weird bug and it's so inconsistent and perculiar that a simple thing like restarting as a fix can be overlooked, or unnoticed

You shoundt have bought that game for the pc, ubisoft really f.... up with that version, in all my time in gaming i have never seen such a f... up as they made there, it should play smoothly on a smaller system then yours.mimic-Denmark

Well it plays ok on other pc a 3500+, 1 gig and 6800gt it makes no sense i wonder if its something to do with duo core
