Huzzah! Now we can all play a pretty bland video game by all accounts on a console with superior graphic quality. That'll make the game relevant for sure!

It's a great game, to be sure, but it has so many damned problems--and it's been out for as long as it has, it's very disappointing. They never fixed the nonsense phone issue where every time you start your saved file, when you had a call it just replays over and over; the game still crashes on a regular basis. I'm playing the PC version, and I've never had as many problems with a game as I've had here with it crashing randomly; the server continually goes offline and won't come back on for days; and other various glitches that make the game unplayable sometimes.

I like it, but with how often it crashes and its autosave being more or less awful--like most autosaves with the exception of a few games--I wind up playing areas I've already completed more times than I'd care to count, so it'll probably spell the end of playing it anymore.

I agree about nonhuman enemies not being as scary, so well done for pointing that out. I think the game is so far better than a 7, but that's just my opinion. Nice review. (:

@SteXmaN @Conscrumptured @Toysoldier34 I'm not saying it is or it isn't, I'm just pointing it out for people who think it might be for console version only to arrive at Amazon and be sorely disappointed.

I've played the game the most on PC, but without the mods to make the port even remotely playable then it wouldn't be the best at all in my opinion. But with the mods, yeah, I'd agree I like it more than PS3--haven't played the 360 version.

@Toysoldier34 Worth noting it's $6 for the PC "Prepare to Die" edition, not for console versions.
