Intel Haswell's L4 cache for the GPU indicates otherwise. What's this gotta do with anything? lol the gddr3 has better timings....gddr5 at same clock speed has more bandwidth though.

GDDR5 was designed to clock higher. Yes but that gddr5 is running low clock and that gddr3 could achieve same clock. if they were be little to no difference.
the gddr5 model is running higher clock speed on the memory only reason it's slightly faster. if the gddr3 was at same clock speed which it could be be hardly any difference.
