You know what? I actually agree with you, he only said one positive thing about the game, which was just the idea of the multiplayer mode. When a game scores 6, I can't all be bad... 6 is not a high score, but there most be some positive things to say. Instead he just started the review by saying: "Kane & Lynch is an ugly, ugly game", and basically continuing the same way through the whole review. It really sounds like he hated the game.
Now I'm not saying he deserved to be fired, it was definitely wrong, but the review was pretty unprofessional IMHO.
But saying it was an ugly ugly game wasn't in itself criticism I didn't think. He was just describing the characters and the overall feel to the game. Sort of as if the characters were anti-heroes. That in itself was not a criticism, but then he does go on to say that it is too ugly. IMO, only the second part was criticism. Although I agree that there were very few good points he touched on. Still, I think it was a good review, I now know that it isn't the great game it was hyped to be, so I dind't waste my money on it.
I get your point, but still, pretty much everything he said was negative. It's not a great game, but when watch the review I just get the feeling that he thinks it's pure crap, but maybe that's just me.
