Historical facts? I'm sorry, but those are all opinions, excluding sales (I don't even know if your sales statement is true either as you provided no link, but I'm too lazy to look it up).

lets put aside our inner fanboyism and rely on historical facts. GAMEPLAY: this is what makes the Halo franchise so popular along with its mp mode of course. its so smooth and flawlessly put together. Killzone 2's though was boring and unbalanced with broken controls. CONTROLS: Everybody even the die-hard PS3 fanboys complained about the broken and ridiculous controls of killzone 2. they tried to be good and such, but failed at being unique. HALO 3 on the other hand had perfectly easy to learn controls but very difficult to master. GRAPHICS: Halo Reach looks a lot more impressive than Killzone 3, technically and visually, taking into account its huge open-world and massive improvements and forge, rocket launhgers etc. SALES: Halo 3 sold more in like a week than killzone 2 did in its lifetime, LOL, I think we know whos gonna win the SALES department. Halo reach will destroy Killzone 3 and will sell 10 million, whereas Killzone 3 will struggle to hit 2 million. LONGEVITY: Halo 3 had million players 2 years after its release, whereas Killzone 2 fell off the charts 1 month after its release. lol Multiplayer: let's not be foolish here. Killzone 2's MP was dead and buried 2 months after the game's release, it's full of glitches, bugs and unblanaced controls and gameplay and most of all it's unbalanced ( the whole system ) and very boring. MUSIC: Halo has the respected team working to create the atmospheric and legendary soundtracks that fit well with the environment and characters. CHARACTERS: MASTER CHIEF has been cited as an icon for today's video games, do people even know the KIllzone 2 guy? lol, HALO has the best characters known to man, with the immersive MASTER CHIEF and the super hot CORTANA. So it's safe to say that Halo reach will own Killzone 3 and embarass it.

This thread is pretty stupid. Are you trying to see if PS3 owners are jealous?

Besides, what do 360 owners think about the PS3's exclusives? That they're all crap and/or movies.

I honestly love the originality that this game promises - hopefully we'll see demo footage :)Ravensmash
Originality? Only because you play above the ground? I think you're going to be disappointed...

Those are good games, but not the best. Where are GTA, Halo and Mass Effect?

Than the free PC version?

No, I was talking about the vastly inferior PS3 version.

[QUOTE="millerlight89"]I like others am not really digging the name. As for the direction they are taking? It looks like it could be really awesome or just plain stupid. Either way I will await Raptures return. wolverine4262
you will be waiting for quite a while.... it doesnt take place in Rapture..

Then why is it called BioShock?

[QUOTE="Cook1eMonst3r"][QUOTE="IppoTenma"]Interesting, I just beat Bioshock 1 a few hours ago. The end was kind of disappointing, but it wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. Looking forward to playing the second one and this one, though I wish they just called it Bioshock 3 instead. I really hate when they don't number the sequels.Ravensmash
I don't really think anyone can argue with this. Why "Infinite", why not just BioShock 3? Are they perhaps trying to be unique or cool, or something? Fail. Because gamers are certainly not going to be impressed by it.

It takes place in the Bioshock universe obviously, but it's not a direct sequel to 2. It'd be silly to call it Bioshock 3, and I doubt gamer's are going to be put off a potentially great game because it's missing a number.

Why not something more logical, then, such as "Columbia"?
