Interesting, I just beat Bioshock 1 a few hours ago. The end was kind of disappointing, but it wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. Looking forward to playing the second one and this one, though I wish they just called it Bioshock 3 instead. I really hate when they don't number the sequels.IppoTenma
I don't really think anyone can argue with this. Why "Infinite", why not just BioShock 3? Are they perhaps trying to be unique or cool, or something? Fail. Because gamers are certainly not going to be impressed by it.

I think that this new project is destined to fail in a miserable manner (not that the original was excellent or something--hacked to bits by Halo 3 in terms of quality and sales).

It's particularly embarrassing, since it's supposed to be the most powerful of all consoles.

[QUOTE="KHAndAnime"] I'd say 50 hours for all the games combined. They're all bad compared to any PC FPS.Ravensmash
Even CE? I know it's your opinion, but isn't that widely regarded as an amazing FPS for it's time?

How many FPS games on the PC received a higher score than Halo 3?

[QUOTE="khoofia_pika"][QUOTE="Cook1eMonst3r"][QUOTE="khoofia_pika"] Of course it does. iPad is the greatest thing to have happened to mankind since sliced bread.

No, but gaming on the iPad and iPhone is a lot better than on the Wii, and unlike Nintendo, Apple didn't primarily focus on games.

:| Are you serious? Or is it just that my sarcasm detector is broken?

No, it's not broken. I'm telling you the truth. Don't forget that the iPhone is wireless.

[QUOTE="Zero_epyon"][QUOTE="Cook1eMonst3r"][QUOTE="Zero_epyon"] Which Halo? If you mean halo 1-3 than certainly more than 24 hours logged. Do I hate Halo and all who drool over it? Not really. Do I dislike the direction it went in half way into Halo 2 and beyond? YES. Let's hope Reach redeems itself.

What's wrong about Halo 3? It remains the fastest-selling exclusive game of all time, with a score of 9.5 (94 on Metacritic - universal acclaim), and had a gigantic impact on the gaming community. And if you think it was all about the hype, then for what purpose did 1 million gamers go back to Halo 3 two years after its release? You see, you can't really hate on Halo 3. It was extremely successful in terms of hype, sales, quality and scores, and also longevity.

With that logic then no one can ever hate on MGS 4 since it got a 10 here and GOTY. But people do anyway and that's fine you know why? Because games are subjective. Every one of them. I didn't like the story of Halo 2 and 3. They could have done it better IMO. I don't buy games for just multiplayer and to me Halo feels the same each time I play it. The only thing that changes is the playlist and the maps. Now I'm not saying this is bad and Halo doesn't deserve its respect, but that doesn't mean I'm a huge fan of it.

Then, in what way did Bungie choose the wrong direction after Halo 2? Halo 3 became so much more successful.

[QUOTE="mr_poodles123"]

How long have you played halo games?

BE TRUTHFULL. DON'T SAY "OH I HAVE PLAYED IT ALL THE TIME AT FRIEND'S HOUSES SO MORE THAN 24 HOURS."
