There will be millions playing Starcraft 2 ten years from now, so no.

Espada12

By milking players with expansions.

:| not sure if serious...

Why do you think Blizzard decided to split up one single game into a trilogy? Money, of course. They could, without a problem, have fitted those three campaigns into one disc, but decided to do the opposite (all for the cash, of course).

[QUOTE="Cook1eMonst3r"]And 5 million people will also be playing Killzone 3 20 years from now. Troll some more.N30F3N1X

You're the one trolling.

SC2 WILL last years with millions playing it, no matter how much you want to hate it.

Claiming millions will play it 10 years from now just like that is trolling. It might be popular in 2020, but it certainly won't have a million of players playing.

Little big planet 2 definately.

WOW...

Xbox 360's best and ps3 owns it with a game that isnt even in the same GENRE LUL.

In little big planet 2 you can make your own halo game (2d though)

GrandTheftDog
Reach is the true sequel to the game that saw 1 million unique gamers online every day 2 years after its release. Nobody cared about LBP, though.

Halo 3, by far. Anyone stating the opposite is a gigantic fanboy.

Because being a paid demo certainly didn't hinder GT5 Prologue's sales?

No GT game ever sold less than 10 million copies.

No Halo game ever sold more than 10 million copies.

GT gamer's aren't better than Halo gamers, just... well, yes they are better.

SkaRy_RuLeZ

I think that he has something to say about that

[Pic of fail game snipped]

check your "facts" next time pls

The only confirmed value is 8.1 million, any more than that is pure speculation

That was months after the game's release, in the beginning of 2008. Halo 3 kept selling, though, and actually managed to outsell Killzone 2 in the U.S. in 2009 one month (Halo 3 being 20 months old, Killzone 2 being only one or two).

No but Reach will easily outsell 99% of other games released this year in a matter of days.

Locutus_Picard
It won't even sell as much as GT: Prologue...so keep dreaming my friend.

Prologue shipped 5 million units. That number will be devoured by Reach in a matter of time.

This guy is new to gaming and has never heard of Halo before, someone educate him please. Anyway, the launch will be bigger. It will sell more than Halo 3...if it somehow doesn't then the economy is to blame and nothing else. It's not like there are any other marketing powerhouses being released in September.

Reach looks marvelous, but is nowhere near as hyped and sought-after as Halo 3 was prior to its launch. Initial sales won't impress, and that's more or less a fact by now.
