Yes and no. I have a ps3 and I have a High-End PC so its not a rare thing....and I have personal friends who have a ps3 and a High-end PC so its not a rare thing....your 1% analogy FAILS

How does his 1% analogy fail because four of your friends have high-end PCs compared to the probably 20 million or more people who own aPC and play games on them. I'm not a math wiz but you and your 4 friends out of 20+ million are probably about .000000000000000000000000000000001%. With that said Im sure more then 1% of people have high-end PCs.

I like Halo but now and again someone comes along and misenterpretes my view into thinking im a 'hater' when I critise the game, or comment on bogus claims.

My post has nothing to do with you. Go back through this whole thread and look how many people just randomly say, Halo is the worse FPS ever, HL2 owns, or something to that extent. For no reason they bring up Halo just to bash it. Its not just this thread but it is every thread that has to do with FPS. I understand that Halo may not beeveryone's cup of tea and I also knowit isn't the holy grail of FPSs, but you sound like a complete idiot when you say Halo is the worse FPS ever. Once you spew that crap out of your mouth you like a complete ass. It makes way more sense for people to say its the best game ever then for people to say its the worse. The majority of gaming sites and gamers agree.

Still I think there is a bit of a counterbalance between 'Halo praisers and haters' on these forums.

I guess it is sort of a counter balance, butit just seem like there are way more basherson this forumthen people who claim Halo is the greatest. And that just doesn't make sense because Halo is so critically acclaimed and loved that it would only make sense for there to be more people praising it, but it is the exactopposite. Some people I think like to say how it sucks just to piss otherpeople off.I think deep down the people who bash Halofind it somewhatappealing, but just hate how everyone loves it when they themselvesthink its only average.I just don't see how anyone in their right mind could ever with all seriousness say Halo is the worse FPS of all time.

It doesn't matter how much competition is out there. Halo will sell more then UT3 and Cod4 combined in one month then the other two will in there lifespans. I saw nothing from COD4 in terms of gameplay that I haven't already seen in GRAW 1 and 2 and RB6:Vegas. The only thing that makes COD great is its multiplayer, and I really excited for that.

I have had my 360 since launch and have never had a problem. The chances of your console breaking are highly overrexaggerated by sony fanboys. I think you shold give the 360 a try. If it breaks Microsoft will replace it anyways. I don't see a bad outcome if you buy a 360.
