Final Fantasy is basically like your average RPG. You know dumb hero that uses swords, mages that use magic, blah, blah. It's debatable which ones are the best, but it's always the PS1 versions or FFVI that get mentioned the most.
Make sure YOU DON'T BUY FFIII, it sucks for DS. Get FFIV, V or VI for GBA sice they are better. I would say V the most because it has an upgraded job system from FFIII with a ton of custimization.
