Yes but steam has had years to develop all of this and since Steam creates their own games. I am sure that they gain more money on their sales than Xbox does on royalties. They are trying to increase the speed at which they can develop all of these features. Also to say that Xbox is second in sales, I find hard to believe if you can find me some statistics to back that up. I may believe you. But I am pretty sure that Xbox 360 has been dominating the American market. I only know very few people that own PS3's. Also I know that a lot of the people that own Wii's do not really enjoy them as much as the 360 and find the Wii more of a novelty. xXMotoPsychoXx
Holy wrong.
The 360 has sold a bit more than half of the amount the Wii has. Regardless of how much the consumers enjoy their system, Nintendo made much more money through hardware sales. PS3 (though catching up) is still in 3rd place in sales. Steam isn't a company. It is a service provided by the developers Valve, who do sell their own games on Steam, they also sell many other games from other developers. Xbox live has been out about 7 years now. They have had plenty of time to "develop all of these features".
Anybody educated knows that XBOX Live is not worth the price for what you get. Unfortunately, the casual croud who plays only CoD4, Halo 3 and Gears doesn't know that and there are a good 10 million of them willing to give MicroSoft $50 a year to use all the features of a game they bought of an internet connection they already pay for on a console they already bought that advertises online play as its best feature.
