I played MGS Twin Snakes in one sitting once, in the most uncomfortable chair ever. after my 11 hours I was so sore I went to bed.

Another was once the Trophies came out for Uncharted, I beat the game in one sitting (about 7-8 hours), took a 2 hour nap, and then beat it on hard (about 5-6 hours since the game was fresh in my head) I had the Platinum like 3 days later.

More recently I attempted the Bladder of Steel RockBand 2 Trophy play the 84 songs (nearly 6 hours) without pausing or failing and I accidentally hit the PS button (pausing the game) on like the 70th song. I took this oppurtunity to releive myself of what felt like 3 gallons of urine. Then of course played the last hour or so of songs.

Since when was IGN not credible?

Gametrailers is owned by Spike TV, and is not really aimed at the hardcore gamer (though they have been much better the last few years than before).

Obviously the publishers quote IGN because they are widely recognized as a gaming site.

Instead of retyping my easily 200 word post I am going to ask a question (or two).

Why does Gamespot have a reset post button?

And more importantly, why does it not have a dialogue box that asks us to confirm that we wish to reset our post?

Put two and two together and figure out why I'm pissed.

About your last point, this is something I've seen people ask for, for years. Developers seem to love to give us the choice do behave either in a good or evil maner, but haven't quite developed this concept as fully as I think they could. It would be cool to see some morally complex decisions that have deeper and more specific consequences than the usual 'if you choose the good path X will happen, if you choose the evil path Y will happen", cause and effect realations we have now.allnamestaken

Totally agree. I didn't play much of Knights of the Old Republic (one of the first games to have the good/evil story paths that I can think of) but I remember all of the dialogue choices you were given and at the time I assumed that each choice would have a deeper effect on the branching story than it actually did. I'm not sure if Mass Effect has nailed the neutral aspect either (don't have a 360 or good PC), but definitely look forward to a truly choice driven RPG-esque game in the future.

I am currently borderline obsessed with Resident Evil 5's co op. (FINALLY learned how to invite/accept on the PS3 version)

It is very clear that the whole game was designed with 2 players in mind, which definitely makes playing alone a weaker experience. I loved the drop-in drop-out style co op of Subspace Emissary (Brawl's campaign) with a friend.

Another obvious one is Rockband. One of the most fun experiences of my life was getting 3 friends over, drinking some booze, and playing Rock Band 2 drunk the whole night. Our singer was awful, and my drum sticks hit the wall on more than one occasion.

I got into the Metal Gear series literally weeks after it was taken down (which was a while ago now :P) so I played Portable Ops online. Does anyone know if that is taken down too since PS3's MGO started? (I cannot check as I don't have a PSP at the moment until Go comes out).

In a related note, it looks like Peace Walker will have some kind of co operative aspect (judging from the 4 Naked Snake/Big Bosses in the trailer). That could be very fun.

I usually do both. Generally Good first, so I can used to the game and then Evil so I can just let loose.

For example, in inFamous, I played good then restarted on Hard as Evil. Being Evil is a lot easier than being Good (which involves hard work and sacrifice, not unlike the real world) whereas being Evil limits the amount of compromising you must endure because you are rewarded for being a selfish ***ck.

Using my example, as a Good guy in inFamous you have to carefully pick off your enemies, avoiding civilian casualties, the power upgrades are generally less appealing, and you actually have to give up some Blast Shards (items that increase your energy meter) to maintain a Good reputation.

I wish the game weren't so blunt though. So black and white. When games have a neutral aspect too it makes the descisions all the more powerful to you.

Why would it matter so much to XBOX fans if Sony paid for it to be exclusive? Don't be hipocrits. Microsoft does it WAY more often.

GTA4 DLC, Fallout 3 DLC (timed), Modern Warfare 2 Maps (timed), Mass Effect 1 + 2 (I don't have a link, but I'm pretty sure). Plus Microsoft keeps coercing Developers to port (or split development) of previously exclusive titles. Sony has to do this to be able to stay competitive. Just because their 1st party is much, MUCH better doesn't mean they can keep going without 3rd party support.

I love the Onion Movie. For fans of the satirical Onion News Network, this movie is a must see.

Hot Fuzz and Wayne's World are also memorable.
