Personally, I have GTA 4 for story and production values, and Saints Row 2 for the varied missions/diversions/activities/complete over the top gameplay. Now, if they could combine the realistic physics and graphics engine of GTA4, and layer it onto Saints Row 2's craziness...well...that would just be crazy!
Saints Row 2 is pretty violent...although it's more cartoony/over the top. Some of the cutscenes are brutal though. Not even close to being the most violent ever, but it's up there.
1. RE5 2. Alan Wake 3. Saboteur 4. NBA 2k10? Haha. NBA 2k9 is one of the best sports games I've ever played. 5. Bioshock 2 (I'm doing 10, because I can't narrow it down to 10) 6. Mass Effect 2 (Please) 7. Modern Warfare 2 8. A new Starfox (Let Nintendo buy Factor 5 and have them develop it) 9. Halo Recon 10 Toss up between Halo Wars and FEAR 2
Star Fox Assault (Nowhere near the caliber of SF64) Kane and Lynch (Loved the game, but poor gunplay, braindead AI, and glitches kept it from being great) Two Worlds (Could have been an Oblivion killer if it wasn't so buggy. Also has terrible ren-fair caliber voice acting) Red Steel (I didn't mind the game, but found it generic on every level. And swordfighting was terrible) SPORE!!!!!!!!!!!! (Expected a deep game, got a shallow creature creator)
I really hope this game flops. I'm tired of the constant hype, pointless comparisons, and "exclusive info" from some blogger with a hard-on for the PS3.
