Yeah you can....or at least $650 without a monitor.Yes, but how many people can afford PC gaming? You can save all the "I can build a gamin rig for 600 bucks that will run HL2 with 1600x1400 4xAA at 30fps," because you really can't. .

[QUOTE="Cpt_Meh"]....saying that the PS3 is much more powerful than a high end gaming PC? It's annoying, and it's not hard to merely observe how wrong you people are. Thanks.Riverwolf007lol, When did reality have anything to do with SW? Here opinion = fact, MGS4 will be out for 360 in the fall, Halo sucks, the Wii is a flop, PC gaming is too expensive and all reviewers are paid off by M$, Sony, and the mafia. I don't doubt that MGS4 will come to 360, Halo is great, Wii is awesome, and....yeah. I see your point. :D
[QUOTE="echelon"]Only idiots would say this. The moment a console is manufactured and shipped out, the PC already has something new and better either available or close to available. A console is basically a specially designed computer that you cant upgrade. That will never be as powerful as a well built home PC that you can upgrade. I still like consoles more but that is the truth as I see it.flazzleYou are right. THey are two different animals. A console is not running any OS extras to slow it down, so it doesnt need as much as a pc. I like the convience of a console because I dont have to worry about updating hardware, configurations, etc. like you do with PC games. Playing network games on a PC you can easily be outclassed because someone has a faster pc, more memory, better Graphics card, etc. It became too much of a pain You just said the PS3 performs better than a high end PC though?
[QUOTE="flazzle"]I thought it was. How is it not?oback*slaps forhead* *Slaps flazzle*

Yeah, set it straight for us Cpt_meh!flazzleIt has alot less RAM(Than a normal gaming computer, which on average is 2 gigs), which hampers it. The Cell processor COULD be insane, but it somehow hampers itself...I don't know if this what intentional to keep the price down, or was a design flaw, but after reading all the hype on Cell, you would think it would hold a massive advantage over the 360 at least. I was watching a friend play some games with his new GTS, and he literally tore the games apart. Dark Messiah? Highest res his monitor could support, everything else on max, and antriscopic filtering at 8x. The game didn't stutter or glitch once. Load times were more or less instant. I have yet to see the PS3 (or 360 for that matter) offer quick loading times on most games. I mean, PS3 can't run MS above 30fps. Sorry I don't go into the technical nitty-gritty of all this, but from what I've seen, there's no reason yet that people should call a PS3 better than a gaming computer.
[QUOTE="zeonne"][QUOTE="Felous1"][QUOTE="wapahala"]I bet there isn't any difference between the PS3 and 360 version. toxicmogThe 360 version should look a little better because of more available memory ram. Also, in an interview with Epic one dude said "if you are into graphics you will like the 360 and PC version" or something like that. LOL no....read sig(click link, its not arguable) ps3 runs the ue3 better then even top of the line pc's: GO HOME! That is utter crap ¬_¬ A PC would own the PS3...just a Nvidea 8800 card whips the the PS3 GPU. Not to mention two of them SLI. Then add a good 4 gig of ram, a quad core CPU. and ooohhh. That runs much better than on my PS3. The low end Core 2 Duo is a better processor than Cell. Cell could be way more powerful, but it cripples itself. The PS3 can't beat a Dual Core setup with a GTS, let alone a GTX.
Before anyone asks for link here you go.SUREEEEEEEEEEE.....
