It will give you a message at the top right corner. Simply use fast travel to get as close as you can, then call a horse and ride the rest of the way. They give you plenty of time from when they first warn you.

You really need to continue the story for the answers. You leave the animus from the start menu to read your emails as Desmond at the computer by Rebecca (think her name is). Occasionally faces can look similar but thats because of the time period (and everyone with those wigs and same outfits). If you go through the animus database they give pictures of each character. That, and the voice actor, is the best way to become familiar with each person. Oh and to shoot a gun is Y (on xbox at least) as long as its equipped as your "left hand" item. As for the sword, you have the ability to disarm people and take their weapon but unless you specifically exchange and swap it from your other currently equipped weapon you don't keep it.

As AC III showed us, the line between templars and assassins is blurring. There is something in the animus for III that was talking about a pirate and how they have a bad reputation but whatever they were talking about was actually generous and kind to the people. I can't remember what it was though.

Perhaps they will build upon that more. But this game starts off with a bang with Haythem and only knowing his father and where he came from can we all understand the events that unfolded before the American Revolution.

Hey, that sounds pretty good! In a way, the templars infiltrated the assassins as raising a son of a real one as one of their own.

They don't know for sure, yet. But yes, the ADB does say it is likely he could have stolen it. However, my guess is considering the next game you play as Connor's grandfather I bet we will all learn why.

The Liberation missions you are talking about is the ones about the taxes I assume. If so, yes the main story mission when Connor and Sam Adams talk about the tea explains those missions. It's part of one of the themes of the Revolution about taxing without representation. You are helping citizens against the British forcing tax money out of them. You are sending a message by putting a stop to it. As for the forts, I was surprised how early you were allowed to attack them so they do precede there time with the replacing of the flag. But basically the idea behind that is Connor having a problem with the British. He isn't on anyones side, but he is less on the British side than the colonists. Courier side missions are one of the games side missions (obviously). At the time, groups would form to spread letters around the areas. These are your modern day mailmen. By partaking in the missions, you are essentially joining these groups (if you wanted a literal role playing explanation). Everything is explained in detail if you pay attention and read the ADB. AC games are almost entirely all about history and the animus database is essential into understanding anything in these games.

The very few matches i played of League, I admit they seemed SO smooth. I wanted to continue playing but then my xbox battery died and I couldn't play the game for a month and a half... Tried public matches after that and just quit the game because I can't take that **** anymore. Maybe i'll try league again, but honestly both BO games has given me nothing but aggravation. But yes, from those few matches it was extremely-out-of-place-smooth. Now i'm actually tempted to believe this woman.

A better balance of maps, both in size and in how they're structured (not putting random stuff in the way just to have it in the way), simplified killstreak rewards, hopefully the obliteration of the lag comp that has been destroying black ops 2

ImGunnaKillYou

These, especially the lag comp. It has been ruining online multiplayer since BO's one, and a lot of people are just done with it. More importantly for me, I want CoD to grow up and get rid of a lot of the arcadey nonsense and overly simplified gameplay that caters to babies. No more running like Olympic sprinters, get rid of the extreme overabundance of UAVs (if not, make them one of the last streak items, not one of the first! There is no skill in the teams having a radar on the entire friggin game.), chill with the killstreaks and the amount of them (MW2 had the perfect amount) and NO MORE of this aim assist crap! There is other stuff I just cant think of specific examples at the moment.

As for the OP, I fully agree with dedicated servers. I mean really, we **** deserve them after the amount of money all of us have put towards these games. If it's one company that has MORE than enough money and more than enough fans to make it worthwhile, its the CoD franchise. But its Activision, and they just want money first and foremost so we all know that won't happen. I know it's expensive but hell, they will earn their money back from those who left because they were tired of the crap.

Either that post is a troll or just... oblivously stupid.

Honestly, I think the game is amazing. Everything works together so well and they really went above and beyond with the immersion. It's hard to put down.

I thoroughly enjoy customizing in the garage as it gives you the ability to really go deep and pinpoint the items to improve to get the car where you want it for the most part. I think its anything BUT wasting time. Also, when it comes to bumpers, rims, spoilers etc, eliminating more weight is what helps add the 0.1 acceleration in most cases. Other cases the cosmetic stuff adds acceleration because of better aerodynamics.
