More than Halfway through it now. I know it nearly isn't as good as HL1 based. Does it get any better?

You have to install the Motherboard drivers first if your using the onboard sound. Chances are your dad didnt load the motherboard cd drivers. Also make sure the setting on your motherbaord in enabled in BIOS

bioshock wasn't scary at all, it was a great game

fear was scary at some parts but overall was just a everyday shooter

doom3 had walls which opened for no reason other then letting a creature out

zbiggie

Why do people bash Doom 3 and their opening walls for no reason? I know everyone was scared as zhit the very first time they played it you can't convince me otherwise so stop playin

450 watt PSU is more than adequate. Go with the 6000+ CPU. Don't wait for anything. Theres ALWAYS better technology available month to month anyways we will never escape it. It is awesome performance for $150-$200 less than Intel.

Dude the problem is the Hard Drive is Toast. Buy a new one or connect another1. You can get a 200-300 gb for $50-$80 on newegg.com. You can find 80-160 gb on ebay for less than $50.
