The Sims is definitely easier to play and put down whereas WoW may be just as addictive, but with all the guilds and social connectivity that makes it difficult for a lot of people to put down. Many people log in to MMO's just to talk to friends. You play Sims because you have an itch to build and play God.

The question wasn't WHY people play the Sims or WOW or which is more popular, but which comsumes more lives

Got kicked and banned from a WOW guild because the leader issued an edict that "if you have a warrior you MUST spec it like this. If you have a paladin you MUST spec it like that." I questioned where the hell he got off telling me how to spec my characters on a game that I bought and I'm paying subscription fees for and I'm investing MY time on. Apparently he didn't like to be questioned. No matter....I guess I should thank him for giving me my life back since I quit WOW right after that. FREEEEDOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!Lytnin

I loved UT1999 wepons. Especially the sniper and the Gun that shoots sawlike disks. *HEADSHOT*.

Farcry's wepaons also have alot of oomph to them and are great

Play F.E.A.R. DM. It's free, and you can just kill with abandon.

Personally, prefer TDM, because it can get crazy with all the ammo flying all over -- and melee players -- to be able to watch yourself 360.

F.E.A.R I find the weapons too weak for some reason.

Game related kicks, bans and funny business...

1. Banned from a game forum for posting a pic of shooting a guy in the groin with a rifle (that's the price to pay trying to be Bruce Lee at close range -- a choice shot right between the legs!). Guy went insane for 2 weeks having a troll fest over lost pride, and it was best that I be banned because of it. :lol:

2. Kicked from a server for throwing a grenade, and 2 dummy allies came running down right into it. No they can't be bothered to hear it hissing. No they expect you to have bionic eyes and ESP to know exactly when they're turning a corner. :evil:

3. Playing BF2142 and all of the sudden the server was put in pause mode. Why? So the admin could broadcast that someone was gay :roll:

4. Playing BF2142 and enjoying a great game and we're ready to get the last flag. Then all of a sudden we get a reset. Reason? The admin didn't want to lose. :evil:

For some reason kiling your own squad always warrants a perm ban even more so than cheating. Hows THAT possible?

Even tho its ok once in a long while Theres to much CTF, vehicle and squad based crap that gets entirely too tedious that no one DM anymore. DM is where your skill is honed and where the FUN is. Ppl need to DM more often!

People say its not creative enough but its not supposed to be. At the end of a long day its just great to fire up and kill anyone at will. Its nothing that a double barrel SHOTGUN wont cure
