what changes? none - wow has nine million subscribers and that number is stillgrowing

why the hell would they change anything? they've stumbled on a perfect formula (to capitalise), there's no rational reason to make any significant changes - if it ain't broke, don't fix it

but as someone else said, it's not rational for blizz to put out wow2 while wow population is still rising - if anything, we'll see a world of diablo, or more likely, world of starcraft as a complimentary rather than rival game... no one would play wow1 and wow2 concurrently... but i bet a lot of people would play wow and wos at the same time, especially if blizz offers a dual subscribership discount, which they almost definitely would

we may see wow2 once wow's popularity starts to wane significantly, which will take a very long time, but i frankly expect it to be the same game with a new engine and about 15% as much content as wow had (considering the number of expansions that will be out by then)

and it will all begin again

the sims has supposedly sold 16m copies worldwide, and while expansions inflate that number to ~70m, there won't be more than the 16m players

wow has 9 million active subscribers, and at an estimate, ~10-12m units sold

so, ~16m players vs ~9 million players is nearly a 2:1 ratio, except that people tend not to sit and play the sims for more than a couple hours at a time, while wow players can easily play anywhere up to or beyond 12 hours per day (i used to knock back about 8 hours of eq a day)... so in terms of hours played, i would imagine wow takes it by a long, long way

so i'd say world of warcraft for total hours played, the sims for total number of people playing

got banned off my own server on CS:S by one of my admins for calling him a complete dumb @$$ for slaying people for no reason, I mean cmon its my clan and he banns me so had to edit out his admin rights and banned him from Teamspeak + the CS:S Server.

oh and also im 15 almost 16 years old and make a great admin unlike all the other gay 10- year olds out in this corupted gaming world.
