It pays to do a little bit of research.

Nintendonly

So they made an apparently needlessly overcomplicated immitation of Super Smash Bros with maybe 5 or 6 familiar liscences and the rest only distinguishable from one another by the colour of their hair? And is not getting an international release due to legal issues? And probably isn't that impressive anyway since I've never heard of it up to now (not even one person casually mentioned it in another thread)?

My point is that Sakaguchi and, to a lesser degree, Monolith were both well established names that any enthusiast could tell you about, but the guys who made PT seem to be complete nobodies.

Why are we putting Pandora's Tower in with these two? Seriously, where has this game come from and why does it matter as much as the other two? I don't think the studio behind it ever did anything else before it.

If a game is being published by Atlus even if it's a bit niche, the chances of localization is very high. That's why people love them so much. :)ZIVX
Still waiting on Devil Survivor 1 and Trauma Team so don't open your big mouth.

And besides, does anyone actually remember the first Devil Survivor? Maybe if Atlus actually drop the collectors edition that is the only version they print and use those production costs saved on actually making me aware of their games.

What I want to know is, why isn't DQ10 coming to the 3DS instead? That system has the social features that would fit perfectly with the direction this series seems to be going with.

Well, we know that Xenoblade is definitely getting an international release since there's a preview of it on the UK website. As for Last Story, Dragon Quest 10 and Pandora's Tower, they haven't said anything yet.

How about a simulated pen-and-paper RPG type thing? You could have four players running around on the TV while the dungen master pulls all the strings from the tablet. While you're there, how about throwing in a Spore-esque monster designer just for good measure.

You don't need to use the boat yet. Just head along the coast until you see snow on the ground, then go north for the next place. I'm not sure what level is the reasonable minimum here since I too got lost after this point for quite a while.

In my opinion it does have a better library than the GameBoy Advance. I did really enjoyed playing a lot of DS games.en-bit
Though you could say that about any console.

The DS' library pretty much nailed everything, being the only place one can go to for games that are both funny and tragic at the same time.

Frankly, unless the remakes have game-breaking glitches, it doesn't make any difference. For example, the various remakes of Final Fantasy 4 have tweaked the interface and added plot elements that weren't in the original (english language) release, but apart from that, it's pretty much the same game across the SNES, PS1, GBA, DS and PSP.
