Wow, Danny, I am actually surprised you didn't know about the ghost level. Nor did you make mention of the famous hidden door at the end of one of the early levels that took you to some super secret hidden level (or maybe to just the ghost level?). I think it was labeled like lvl99 or something if I remember correctly. I have often been amazed at your knowledge of obscure video game history... so I'm just surprised you didn't know about this. I mean it's freaking Wolfenstien! Lol.
That's a pretty cool mod. But the highlights video was a bit lack-luster. Although I would bot mind seeing a regular Mods video series for GTAIV in the lead up to GTAV release. Something along the lines of the Skyrim Mods show.
@AjenoMerveilles Just make sure it's the super bargain bin. The type of purchase where later you realized... "wow I was really really high, but it was 5 bucks."
"...and that's why we're stuck here playing this now."(1:09m) You know it's going to be a good episode when you hear something like that. Thanks, haven't laughed that much on a NP episode ever. It really was horrible.
They just should have made a dance game or something. Or a free roam weed game since they like the GTA art style so much.
@Toysoldier34 @Episode23 I like the fact that you had to use a generator in winter but were still committed enough to play some PS3 while doing so. Awesome. Thanks for the smile on that one.
@wexorian Yeah I could understand the need to buy game keys for used games or at least major AAA titles. I guess I could handle that feature as long as they never exceed 10$. But if they eliminated used games all together I have to say I don't think I'd continue my console gaming pastime.
@daichanrox I am not trying to be a fan-boy for ps3, but honestly those reasons and some others (like the issue with batteries for the controllers and such) was why I went down the ps line. They both have their faults, nothing is perfect. But ps seems a little more forgiving and versatile. I was surprised to learn how many usb devices I could easily plug into the ps3 that were not PS or Sony. And how long the controllers last. The sticks seems to wear out before the internal batteries ever falter. Heck, we're still using the original controllers from the first when it came out. Although I will admit, for a long time XBL seems to have had way better game on their online store. Lots of great indie games. Though it sounds like PSN will be adding their own indie category.
@made_u_look @breathnac Yeah I do enjoy watching the Beefalos' grow up. And really like the joy of trying to get ready for winter. And the threat of darkness makes the need for fire all that more pleasurable. Night time feels like night time. Just wish you could stretch out the time for day and night plus winter and summer instead of one or the other respectively.
@jerusaelem I know it may take away from the game, but sometimes I wouldn't mind sharing the struggle with a single friend. But then you have the whole issue of a dedicated server or something. Yet help would be nice. And it'd reduce the tedium of survival.
