Got Skyrim the first day, and started hearing this right away. I think it's just as funny as any other meme. Not so much out loud laugh funny, just more humor in nerd community culture, that's all. Everything is worth a little smile.
@Cobbyfamily I'm confused? Are you calling me a troll? Lol. I like skyrim and it's mod community. I just found that statement about shooting people because they don't like what you like is stupid. That's all. No worries little buddy. ;)
Posted a little info on my suggestion for Wildfire World episode on Wildfire Worlds development forum and the dev is interested in providing you guys access to the current version to help accommodate your efforts at research for a possible future show, or at least to help spread and build a media base. For the record I have no association with this games development group, I just found this game a little while ago and fell in love with the idea and look. But I am happy to help pass information along, but I'm uncertain of how to contact you more directly at this point other than this comments board. And I'll just hope you guys are being attentive. Please feel free to contact me more directly if you need to. Or perhaps just check out their site (www.wildfireworlds.com), and contact one of the main people/devs "Mike" on the forum directly.
@Saketume @CruiserCaptain Yeah, for all my concern of getting sucked into to many games with DRM I find myself using Steam more and more simply to research and support interesting indie games and ideas. Not that I am at all against developers having rights and ownership to their work. Just fearful, as many seem, to be forced into an always-on play style. Or more importantly not feeling as though I actually own my own copy of a full game I purchased legally. So far, thankfully the indie games I go for seem to support this direct downloading despite many also being hosted on Steam, ie: Running with Rifles, Wildfire Worlds and even Don't Starve, which I was happy to see. So thanks to indie developers too! lol. (Check out "Wayfarer" that looks intense!! I think it's co-op space and planet exploration.)
@Saketume @tempertress Actually yes to all. I had to go get the free beta tonight and played a few days. And I know I will keep going back. It's a paper work simulator... why do I want to play this? But I do. I also found myself quickly concerned about making sure I cover all the details in paper work for fear of failing at my job. My families already hungry and my son is sick. Can't afford anything. Wonderful artistic expression.
Oh and you guys highlighted "Running with Rifles" a few shows back, and I totally bought that beta right away after like 5 minutes of the demo, committed fan. So thanks again for the show!
Thank you. I've been saving a suggestion for something really special, and I think "Wildfire Worlds" is worth it. And thanks for you guys paying attention to your viewers. And I look forward to the episode some day. I have a strong feeling you guys will find interesting too. Thanks again.
