Hey guys, love the show been watching it for a while and of course went back and watched all the earlier ones. May I whole heartedly suggest a new game for this show:

"Wildfire Worlds" by Dot Products

It's a really incredible idea and looks amazing. Basically a little paper city riot simulator... I use "simulator" casually. It's worth a video watch at least. However it may still be a bit early in development for this show, but worth looking into ahead of time. It's currently on Greenlight for Steam and that's where I first found it. Wildfire Worlds is so unique in idea and so beautiful in look it is very hard to ignore. Yet it is currently only in a playable Alpha Version 0.34 and they seem to have many more wonderful features in the rioting chaos to add. Plus it seems to be their strong intent to get the cities to run in cycles after destruction and not only become over grown in plants but have the cities themselves regrow, rebuild bigger and better. Currently once the city is destroyed trees and plants take over, but the cycle isn't fully implemented yet so it settles there after the city is destroyed. It is a beautiful process and the future ideas seem that they will only enhance it.

Please at least take a little look at it and perhaps down the line when it moves from Alpha to Beta it may be worth an episode. It's just that I am aware that usually Indie Hour tries to highlight games that have yet to be Greenlit, so this one seem appropriate.

Thanks.

Dead Island was fun at first, for a good portion of the FIRST play through... if you have the patients. And was a bit better when you played with some friends. But once you complete it and just "wake up" on the beach again right back at the beginning, you realize that all you have to do now is EVERYTHING AGAIN. You carry over all your gear and lvls to the new Game+...but it does little to mask the disheartening realization that it is exactly the same quests and goals. And with the not truly "Open world" they provide it's hard to find fun just tooling around, especially after you've completed it.

And this dlc looks like a horrible tac-on. The redeeming factor for Dead Island was the hope of a much better cleaned up and truly open world sequel... Yet after seeing this uninspired dlc that hope is as weak as the repetitive combat; almost, but totally not.

My advice if you're still playing the campaign for the first time, or at all, just go to the ONE city section and get some friends and just play survival style. Best environment in game. And nothing beats rescuing a friend off the top of a car or building when surrounded by Zeds.

(Post Edit: Is this a full sequel!? I thought it was just dlc... if it is a full sequel then take what I said but just assume it's meant as even more disparaging, more negative points, or less positive.)

@Snaptrap Yeah. More just for goofy fun. And I think I read somewhere that it's just a small group of developers and they made this in 48 days as a challenge to themselves. Or something like that. Don't take it seriously, it's not meant to be.

I think we need a Standing and Sitting Simulator.

@Saketume

The current version allows you to tweak MANY of the settings. I personally turned down the hound attacks and upped the respawn points and berry bushes and carrots and beefalos. It is nice. you can tone it down a bit to play a little more casual. It is a good game, but yes can be difficult. And you may have gotten attacked even with a torch because your sanity may have been way to low. Your hallucinations start to attack you after you lose you mind.

@Ghostdog201 Oh and FYI Alien space craft and technology didn't exist in 1962 either. Gosh! When will fiction based games and stories get their facts right in their teaser trailers!

Okay yes! Just don't Dead Island it up with the trailer being better than the game.

Love XCOM: EU, hope this is a worthy addition weather fps or turn-based.
