Great episode man. I was just was this show was going to have a new episode soon. It's really evolving nicely.
Hey, someday could you do a show on "codes/cheats". The life of cheat codes and uses. Obviously covering the Contra Code and eventually finishing with the development of the Modding and lack of "cheat" now seen on consoles.
I think any of us that remember more than just the recent generations of 3d gaming wouldn't mind a good history lesson on cheat codes.
No DON'T RETURN!, We got it! That was enough, great job being a bird or person or person being a bird or bird being a person? Thanks for trying... please don't try again. How about we just go back and do another RollerCoaster Tycoon 3? Can you make a better coaster than one that dumps into another ride? Or a free range in park zoo?
It's nice to know that we have finally hit a solid point where it's obvious we should just shut-up and buy their product. Nice to know that the consumer means even less to the product makers now. Yeah take that targeted market!
Shut up and buy it. What a great marketing plan.
( I think my console gaming life is coming to a close. Think I'll try this new thing I hear about called reading? I'll give it a try...)
@Cloud_imperium Have to agree. Just got really into an indie game I saw highlighted here on Indie Hour,
Running with Rifles
Lead me to look for the site, found the demo, and after a very short bit gladly bought the early release beta (8$ as of 2 weeks ago, and possible to play and own without the need for 3rd party client such as Steam or Desura). After all the major AAA rinse and repeat franchises out there, it's been refreshing to play something like RWR and see such wonderful work by just a few dedicated people. And I also find myself looking more and more for interesting indie games on Steam and anywhere. There are so many; FTL being one.
Come on, it's just 120$ for a game and all it's "content", what's the big deal? I thought we liked being ripped-off, isn't that why we pay for it?
Oh an clearly Gamespot is paid by EA, because if some one hasn't said it, some one will.
Don't know if EA is the worst, but their business and costumer models could use some serious work and reconsideration. It's OUR money they want, and we have the right to say no.
(Love ya gamespot, I don't have a facebook account, never will. But I've had a gamespot account for many years. Helped me in a lot of game purchases and research. Thanks)
