I decided to put this in here because then i can get both sides of story. Basically the general idea is PS3 has Blueray so shutdown. Anything else I need to consider not including exclusives (games)

I did lots of research online and everyone said L4D2 CD keys will work on steam no matter were you are. So bought copy from UK shop and they sent me the key anyway i cant install because something pops up saying something about the region. Should I just start burning my money cause that what it feels like.

Hey all I recently bought a physical copy of L4D2 off ebay from a seller in the UK. Does this mean without exception I will get the game uncensored without issues. Also I am very confused about the whole steam concept because apparently you game play the game online without the disk or something. Is that true. Thanks

I recently built my first PC and was working perfect fro first 3 weeks. Just got a new desk so had to unplug everything and and plug back in. Started it up and all and was working fine. But had forgotten to plug ethernet plug in so I plug it in but thats when I heard a a small sharp spark. Didn't see it but heard it. Looked at the screen and its blank. Not computer blank but DELL (being dell monitor)blank showing power saving mode. Now I could still hear machine running but finally stopped running about 20sec later. I took down to shop and they confirmed mobo was dead. One question. Why?

So basically has this happened to anyone else. My old Mobo was GA-EP41-UD3L.

Im building my own pc buying parts off a site and they sell that OEM software. Now I bought OEM off them before so I know that Vista will install right. But I was wondering about how to go about getting that Windows 7 upgrade when released. I mean technically the site I buy from says I can buy OEM it as long as Im building own computer but would I still be able to upgrade to Windows 7. Would Microsoft let me I guess what Im saying.
