I agree, that statement was below the belt.

Making caustic comments is a past time of mine. One that is justifiably necessary to my sanity. Some people refer to it as sarcasm. A light hearted remark that's intention is one of rebuke.

Good times.

1) We don't have as many good games as the 360 (though we will soon)

2) The HDD wasn't bigger than it was (i got a 60gig and upgraded it to 250gig)

3) Loading times with some games that also have installs.

- I don't mind the installs of games.

However, with installs there shouldn't be loading times. MSG4 does a good job of having installs without loading screens. Star Wars: TFU does not do a good job - it has a large install with loading times (very annoying)

Even so, these aren't reasons not to buy or own a Ps3. The x360 has just as many if not more negatives.

ughh MGS4 had loading screens, even with the installs, like during the chase scene in Act 3 ... between the drive theres a loading screen (WTF) this was my only grife with the game considering the installs, but once again thats not a ps3 thing thats a dev thing.

I find it odd people complaining about the HDD, when sony made it so that you could replace it with ease. and didnt have to buy a specific HDD and spend much more like, 80 dollars for a 20GB or 160 dollars for 120GB. Seeing as I can get a 320 GB for my PS3 for 90 bucks.

Did MSG4 have other loading screens? I don't recall that it did, but it has been some time since I have played it. Doh, my mistake - so... MSG4 also has bad loading screens. *cough*

I only mentioned the HDD b/c as cheap as you can buy large HD's these days you'd think Sony could just throw one in for us. Even when the Ps3 was released HD's of larger than 60gigs were available for a relatively low price - Sony could have gone larger. Maybe that would have compounded the problem of exceeding production costs vs. sale price - that whole debocle, i'm sure you all remember that, Sony losing money, yada yada yada.

However, now they have the ability to include a larger drive, which ... well they are finally doing it, 160gig - yes? Good.

Don't get me wrong, Ps3 is still a great deal when compared to the x360 - so... all is well.

I hosted a game of 8 once upon a time. I started every game as quickly as they ended, I did not allow anyone to change their ships and if there were fewer than 8 in one game I would start so as there was more than 4.

I thought I did a decent job, I switched up the courses and speeds at which you run them based on my own preferences. I may have hosted for a total of 30-45min before I quit. People hosting games need to be on top of things.

I want to get my loyalty points and move on! Hurry it up hosts, get a move on!

If you see me (Cyphus) hosting a game, rest assured i'll get things moving as quickly as possible.

any game that scores 8.6 and above is always worth a play through. i think any ways.

GARRYTH

In this case I agree, its a decent game. Like others said the story isn't that deep, playing R2 without R1 wouldn't make much difference I don't think. Rent it, don't buy it. Save your money for R2.

i got R:FoM and i have to say its really bland but im going to give R2 a chance because i heard that its story is told better and online, coop and others so tell me how u guys liked the gamebox0rocks

I never thought much of this game either. Looks good, but what FPS these days don't? Story is bland, as was said. I never liked the multiplayer either. Not many seemed to play online.

I bet the next installment will be better.
