I bought R1 with the system not long after release. I thought the game was ...well, bland. I found the WW2 theme/setting rather old and lacking something. The story was interesting, but the game itself could not keep my attention. I think I got about half way through before I stopped playing. I had played Halo/2 on the xbox and can't say that I thought much of those either, but I thought the story was more intriguing than R1. I started to compare the games...

In the end, R2 looks promising. although - Far Cry 2 is coming out too. I will probably wait for reviews before I buy another first person shooter. I grow tired of the FPS franchise.

Good to hear its not causing you problems. I have the WD 250gig 5400rpm - feels faster than the original - probably just me though.

Good times.

I believe that if you don't leave the game in the console, the game will disappear.

I have my suspicions.

How did you make this post!?

I_pWnzz_YoU

At school 's lab

No PC? No internet?

And you call yourself a gamer.

I pefer playing with REAL FREINDS.

I hang out with real friends but I'm still a gamer. It's not impossible to do both at the same time either.

but how does no pc? no internet? make me not a gamer?

Because..

A) PC Gaming is sometimes better than console gaming (believe it or not)

B) You don't have internet. No internet= No online gaming= No fun

A- Never been an avid PC gamer

B- Plz i bet even u ur best moments in gaming was with freinds in the same room playing 007(N64)

 So true, I remember playing 007 years ago with my friends. Throwing Odd Jobs hat was an epic win :D

Ultimate quote continuation!

My local gamestop (one of 4 i'm thinking of) has Nintendo up front and to the left and right as you walk in. A little further back you have Ps2 on the right, counter on the left, xbox 360 and Ps3 are side by side in the back. The 360 clearly has more titles available than the ps3, but when I browse through them I see fewer i'm interested in than I see on the ps3 side. Granted, that hasn't got anything to do with Gamestop (I just felt like pointing that out).

The people behind the counter seem to like both the ps3 and the 360. They don't recommend one over the other and if nothing else seem to scoff at the 360.

Another one at a local mall had two employees that started a conversation with me, one had and loved his 360, and the other, a girl, had a ps3 and she loved it. Their display had ps3 up front and right, Nintendo up front and left, 360 in the back - but again it had more wall space than the Ps3.

Seems they're giving every system a fair shake at Gamestop around here. I have no complaints. They seem like a good group.

What ever happened to the game stores of Babages and Electronics Boutique. I feel as though they disappeared overnight. Doh!

Its a good game, it is quite hard at the later stages of the campaign mode. I'm a little stuck, can't quite get the 3 more pts I need to get to Speed Freak.

I don't find the controls to be a problem really. I have had, however, more than one occasion where online gaming has turned to a snore. There aren't too many game sessions created when I get on (evening est time) - most aren't filled and none of the hosts seem to pay attention to that "Start the sessions/race" button. The online portion is the only real gripe I have with Wipeout HD.

The musical score wasn't to my taste, even though I like techno/dance/trance, etc. So i just added my own soundtrack - problem solved.

Good game, definitely worth 20$, but I wouldn't have paid 60$ for it. I like it... not addicted to it though. :(

I'd like a game that could keep my attention.

I agree, that statement was below the belt.

Making caustic comments is a past time of mine. One that is justifiably necessary to my sanity. Some people refer to it as sarcasm. A light hearted remark that's intention is one of rebuke.

Good times.

u want survive here with those kind of statements

*won't survive...

You'd better not make threats, I will enforce grammer and spelling.
