And for people who are going to vote me down (oh wait, Gamespot changed their comment tool!): I'm male, but at least I respect females as being people instead of walking sex appeal.
Syphon Filter was one of the worst PS games I have ever played.
So bad that I actually got a full refund on it.
Anyway, I've moved to emulation as it's impossible for me to look at such tiny resolutions from old consoles on my 1920x1200 monitor (component in, baby). While it's not the genuine experience (emulation is never perfect), it's good enough for me to not bother using my consoles again unless I really want some nostalgia flowing through me.
Why, or how, would anyone do something 'uninterupted' (implying no drink, food, or using bathroom) for longer than 8 hours?
I myself have pulled a 44 hour game session in the past, but that was involved with me getting food/drink/using bathroom multiple times throughout the course of playing.
And how on earth is 86 hours even possible? Especially 'uninterrupted'. That seems incredibly far fetched.
@KerrinScott We are definitely talking about different things when we say 'realistic'.
I'm referring entirely to the art style/graphics (aesthetics) of the game.
You seem to be referring to how close to actual real life the entire world itself is.
It's a fantasy game, of course it's not 'realistic' in the way you describe.
Torchlight has a cartoony art style while Diablo 1/2 have realistic art styles. Understand now?
Also, I never said I liked DCUO. I did play it for a while (along with the other games I listed) and had some fun for a bit, but I absolutely hated the graphics of those games, whether because they were poor (DCUO was on PS3 as well, so i guess low visual fidelity is to be expected.. but they did not bother to increase the detail for PC!) or because I did not like the aesthetics of them.
