I hate nathan drakes animations. they look ten years behind.

Seriously? What game does it better?
He runs around like hes on roller skates with two missing wheels, and his jumping animations look slow. What? That made no sense, he runs like every other video game character if not better. And he jumps slow? Who is he, Jak? No realistic video game character jumps fast, although Ezio jumps slightly faster. He is an assasin though....I hate nathan drakes animations. they look ten years behind.

[QUOTE="balfe1990"][QUOTE="drakekratos"] Read the OP. I brought up many valid points that have yet to be countered. Everything from realism to lighting to frames per second. Uncharted 3 currently has better graphics and performance than Gears 3. drakekratos
Don't want to participate in this thread really, but how the hell could you possinly know which game perfroms better?!
They're both months away from release....
I played the Gears beta and it was silky smooth, even on my slow ass connection. Not sure what you were playing...
If you didnt want to participate, then why did you reply in the first place? Just stop dude. You failed. Move on please.[QUOTE="TREAL_Since"]It's not going to win GOTY here. It just isn't.This man speaks the truth.Since I've never been wrong before concerning GOTY and other various awards since 2005, you all can trust me here :P. Uncharted 3 will win GOTY at Gamespot this year. It's just the way the story goes.
It's hard to top the sequel to the Dark Knight of gaming. But if Nughty Dog succeeds, look for another sweeper with Uncharted 3. Hate it or love it, or just simply like it. Whatever the case, Uncharted 3 will be momentous.

However, it could win at other sites. Maybe not as much as UC2, but it will win some to be noticed.

and gaming journalism continues to disapoint me... I don't want Uncharted to become the goal for any genre of gaming. It's harmful to the industry IMO. Becoming more like movies and taking control away from the player is a horrible trend right now and it never gets punished the way it should. I think video game journalism should reward games for outstanding gameplay not cinematic flourish.
It's gameplay and control that seperates video games from other mediums sogames should be rewardedfor playing totheir strengths.
To me, Uncharted 2 was a 7.5/10 GAME (the actual game part of it was rather mediocre) and Uncharted 3 hasn't shown me anything outside of impressivewater effects to make me think it will be any better.

Ok PIKMEN maniac, I know you havent even touched a ps3 let alone uncharted 2.
Oh come on! Is it really that impossible to think Uncharted 2 wasn't THAT great? I own a PS3, inFAMOUS (a sony exclusive) is my favourite game on it. I bought the sequel day one and have day one impressions of it on my blog. This is rediculous.
I'm Pikminmaniac because ever since Pikmin 2, it's been my favourite franchise. GEEZ LOUISE!
Ok, that's your opinion cool. Now excuse me while I watch the trailer a 50th time.So UC1 --> UC2 was nothing, right?Nice use of cutscene screenshots where many assets are shifted to making character models look good which doesn't happen in actual gameplay.
Uncharted has been nothing but marginal upgrades at best since it started.WilliamRLBaker
