Shame on MS and Sony for passing on Bayonetta way back in the day after the first one released on their consoles. Incredibly smart move by Nintendo to recognize the value of it and pick up the IP to keep it going on their own platform. The sequels are obviously amazing games, a bunch of fun to play and doing well for Nintendo. Good on them and too bad for the rest of us on PS or Xbox.
@boobytrap: I know I'm going to get roasted for this, but IMHO, 5 is one of the best in the series and better than 4, as it does everything 4 does, but does it better. Just my opinion. It also has the distinct advantage of being the first RE game I ever played so yes -there's a bit of nostaligia to that comment as well, for sure, but again I think 5 is way better than 4. 4 just had the advantage of being the first game that was a true 3rd person shooter, in the modern sense of the word. I believe this video can explain it better than I can if you're interested and have 20 minutes to watch:
@hardwenzen: I’m not so sure I’d give it a 6 but I also don’t get why everyone thought it was so great. Certainly a good game but not as good as RE 2, 4, 5 & 7, IMHO
@dussan2: How is this game a live service game? Numerous reviews and YouTubers who have reviewed it have said it most definitely is specifically NOT that. What am I missing? I'm asking a genuine question - not at all being snarky.
@silentchief: Too bad that's all too often the case these days. People need to stop getting so hung up on everything that doesn't matter (gender, skin color, political beliefs, sexual orientation, etc., etc.) and get back to what makes people, and thus companies and their respective products or services, great : actual qualifications.
@talonia: "The problem is that most of these companies have terrible management and incompetent executives who don't understand their customers and don't listen to the people who do understand."
LOL - that's the case with about every corporation I've ever worked for. Same principle, different industry. Couldn't agree more.
No way in hell do I believe this is a 4/10. While I certainly get we all have, and are certainly entitled to, our own opinions, I feel like a majority of reviewers out there get hung up on everything but the one fundamental aspect that ALL games (and any entertainment, really) boil down to: HOW FUN or ENJOYABLE IS IT? And to tell me this game gets an essentially failing grade, which is to imply it's not fun and poorly made is just rubbish.
