If you haven't played Xenogears, that is a more modern sci fi RPG that is, in my opinion, very good. I also like Phantasy Star Universe. Not one of the best, but it is a good game I think. Kinda fun hack n slash

Meh.....I dunno....probably in reality Tifa, however personally I think Aeris attributed more to the plot and was a stronger character.....Tifa however is probably the lead female in the story.....howeverr the presence of two adds alot to the gameplay....

The Will will get Crystal Chronicles. The first game in that series was a good onefs_metal

From what I have heard it was pretty crappy....however I havnt played the game myself and cant judge...than again it is much more FFIX style from my understanding...so I doubt I would like it (FFIX prolly better)

Graphics are the single worst reason you can come up with to not play a game. "I can't play it because the graphics are out of date." Since when does that matter? I thought games sole purpose was to entertain. The entertainment comes from the gameplay, not the visuals. *sighs* When will people learn?fs_metal

ya but I find it bland...or frustrating with the graphics being so outdated...plus I never start RPGs over again...with the exception of FFVII....I just have become so enticed by FFXII graphics that I would rather play it over IV, .....I dunno I can t really explain....

XII was just mideval with more airships than we are used to. Remember. Baron did have a squadron of airships, and they did bomb things., so it has happened before

Seriously dude. IF you luike sci fi RPGs that much, give the Genesis era Phantasy Star games a try. You will have to dedicate yourself to them, though. The only one that I have played was PSII. It is not impossible, but it is the hardest RPG I have ever played. You have to level up ALOT.

Personally I like the futuristic/modern style .....I like guns and vechiles and I find the medieval based FF to be not as good, .......the best is however a cross...which characterizes FF, this occured in FFX and to a lesser extent FFXII .......although FFXII was better....I juts luv the Judges lol....

But like I said I find the modern themes more entertaning...
